We signed a contract with them in December to paint our main room and do a simple remodel in 2 1/2 bathrooms. The contract stated they would be done in Jan/Feb. It took them 5 1/2 months and they were not done until the first week in May, which resulted in us loosing 2 weeks of confirmed rental income (the dates of the renters were communicated to Aaron well in advance and several times). When I asked him to consider refunding us the lost rental income, he told me that "I am absurd." The quality of their work was horrible (in addition to slow). They installed mis-matched tile in the second-floor bathroom (and didn't think we would notice), the vanity and mirrors were mis-aligned and the drawers were uneven, they left plastic bags over the smoke detectors, all of the bathroom fixtures were falling off the walls because they forgot to install the set screws, there were unpatched holes in the ceiling around the recessed lights, and the painting looked like something my 7 year old would do. When we tried to talk to Aaron about it, he gave us excuses (looks like others experienced this with him, as well, based on the Angi's list reviews), told us his suppliers were out of his control, and was combative and confrontational. He sent text messages that just make my blood boil because the way in which he talked to us was so inappropriate. We consistently asked him to come out and meet with us and he refused, saying "I can't make it out." At the end of the day, we feel like he treated our new house like a dumpster, took advantage of us, and caused many unnecessary sleepless nights. We hope others never have to go through what we went through.

They started with the outside, it was fine and quick, but they skipped some places and told us to…read morehave someone fix these parts of the house up and they would finish painting them later. We did, and even though they did come back to do the interior, they didn't fix them, so we now have spots around the exterior that are the old color. They are on the second floor and we can't reach them. For the interior, they "scheduled" a date that we needed to have everything off the walls and in the center of the room. They didn't show up until a month after this original date, so for a month the house was in complete disarray. Once they got in and started painting, it was horrible. They wouldn't paint any of the ceilings and when they 'needed' to paint a ceiling, they painted it the wall color instead of white... very strange. We really needed the double-height part of the living room to be painted white since it was a very yellow tint, but they refused. After looking around the house at their work when they left you can clearly see where they only did one coat of paint when two were very needed. You can see where they did the trim/outline layer and then a quick sweep of paint on the general area. These are in high spots that I can't reach to fix. We now have to pay other painters to come in and fix their mess.
