    My granddaughters had a wonderful experience having Gel/X nails done for Homecoming dance. The nail artists gave the girls exactly what they had requested. The salon is lovely and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and kind. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return.

    Scheduled an appointment same day for two fills. They are the most reasonably priced in the area, and the level of customer service is wonderful. Cindy did my daughter's fill and Michelle did mine. Michelle reshaped my coffin set, I got at another salon. She did an ombré cat eye. My last set was subpar and she made them look amazing. The salon is very relaxing I started getting sleepy towards the end . The ladies are all very light hearted and kind. If you're in the area I highly recommend coming here. They truly want to make sure you're happy with the quality and overall experience, which to be honest almost all other shops in the area are lacking.

    I LOVE SEA SPA! Easily the best nail spot ever. I always get dip nails and gel pedi. Lisa is my favorite for pedi's, she takes her time and really makes my feet feel pretty and clean. Now let me tell you about Michelle. She is CONSISTENT! My biggest issue with nail salons is inconsistency. Sometimes they nail it (no PUN intended hahaha!), then other times they look bad. Michelle is a home run every time. She's so good at shape, thickness, color. My real nails have actually gotten stronger since she started doing them a year ago. I would suggest calling ahead and making an appt, sometimes they're busy for drop ins and trust me when I say, you want Lisa for pedi, Michelle for mani.

    This was my first time coming here & these ladies have me absolutely sold! I always get v simple nails so imo it's so much easier to see any mistakes but I have no complaints. I got a gel x set & pedi (not pictured) & I had 3 or 4 ladies working on me. I really loved that they all worked together to do what they do best individually. One lady did my cuticles bc that's where she shines and another did my painting bc she's so good at the French blend I wanted. They worked together so seamlessly 10/10 will be going back :)

    Look right past those 1 star reviews. I have been coming to Sea Spa for years and will always come here. If the salon is cold in the winter, they'll give you a personal space heater. Unfortunately, they are at the mercy of their HVAC system cooperating. And, they're a small mom & pop shop, the heater is expensive to run! The owner Cindy does everything she can to ensure you are comfortable & happy with your nails. That's what I look for in a nail shop! Lisa & Michelle are also very good nail technicians. Im quite particular about my nails and they go above and beyond to make sure I'm completely satisfied. Thank you ladies!

    Michelle did amazing with my nails today! I've been back to this salon three times now and I have been extremely happy every. single. time. The ladies there are so nice and the prices are the best out of all the other salons I've been to in Huntington Beach. It's so peaceful and calm here, it's great to relax while they take care of you.

I've been coming here off and on for years. (At least 5 or so). I live a block away, so loved the convenience and thought that they were overall pretty good. As a long time customer, I brought my 5 year old in a few times within the last year or so. The first time was great! They treated her so well and helped pick her colors and did a great job with her nails. But this last time I brought her in, my kid wanted to same as last time: which was 3 colors. I saw dirty looks and an overall annoyed worker immediately followed by talking back and forth to their coworkers, very obvious they were annoyed with us. (Although I couldn't understand the language or the problem). This was a weekday and it was super slow, and there were maybe 3 other people in the salon getting services, mind you. Not a stressful situation. They grabbed the colors, painted her nails quickly and walked away... they just were not friendly at all. At the end, when I went to pay, I asked for a breakdown bc it was more than I calculated in my head and they charged me an additional $10 for a third color. They said 2 colors were no up charge but the 3rd is $10. That was never communicated with me. They didn't do that the previous times I was there. And to have a 3rd color, it meant that 4 nails were painted with that (basically the middle finger/toe on each limb). Cmon guys. Also- as a 5 year old, their nails typically stay on for only 4-5 days at best- to spend $50 on that- I won't do that again. I decided in that moment that I would not be able to return here. To make an additional $10 off of me that day, but to lose years of my business- and with me bringing in friends and my daughters.... I hope that was worth it. To secretly upsell because an employee is annoyed is just wrong. Just tell me ahead of time there would be a cost- I would have clearly only done 2 colors... To do that to a long time customer was inappropriate... and to treat my child that was very well behaved in such a manner- didn't talk to her, and was overall annoyed the whole time- was just rude. Do better, guys. For the rest of the staff- you have all been friendly over the last several years. So thank you. The stars I left are for you guys.

I asked to have my nails cut down, but she didn't do it. She also left builder gel on my nails, and now they're peeling/picking. During the removal process, she had me place my nails in a bowl of acetone and kept alternating hands instead of using foil wraps and allowing them to soak properly for 15-20 minutes, which is what I later read is the recommended process. After about 30 minutes, she seemed frustrated and started rushing through my appointment so she could get to another client. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with both the quality of the service and the experience.

I've been to quite a few places where they ended up trimming my cuticles anyway, but at Nano, they only trim when it's absolutely necessary. Another plus is that they don't ask personal questions, which helps me truly relax. The vibe here is homey and laid-back. The technicians pay close attention to detail. The way they apply the polish helps the color last much longer. I had no chips for over a month with regular nail polish. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed-vibe nail salon with courteous, detail-oriented nail technicians.

    I have gone back to Winnie and this salon since 2020. They have done this to me three times where I…read moreasked for a design they say "yes we can do it" and they end up not being able to do it or they try and make you ask for something else. I always go into an appointment showing a picture of what I want and say can you do this, if not that fine I can show you something else or maybe get a different design but no. They say yes and they can't do it. Today I went into asking for the first picture, I wanted a nude base with almond and keep the white design just make it brown and no gel flower ( keep in mind they have down this to me 2 times before so I know they can't do the flower only Winnie can). So she does the French tips it looks great, then she does the design with the oval and it's so crooked not even centered and I asked her you know just make it French tip it's fine. Then comes the blooming gel, she couldn't do it and I said I can just do it at home. (I do my own nails to save money and I have mastered the blooming gel) then she says no I can just do all French and I'm like ugh no that not what I want and Winnie comes over and she tried as well and can't do it. And I just keep telling her it's fine just leave it and she kept trying and I felt so bad so I just said to do them all French tip and keep the gems. They don't look bad at all the shape is nice I love the colors but, if you are unable to do a design why say yes and struggle to commit to it? I would have just left it at the nude base and gone home to do the design myself and would have done it better. So if this helps anyone my main point is if you want a design only Winnie can actually do it unless she doesn't have the right gel for it then they try to work around it so that you still get something in the end. But I don't want just something I want what I know I can do myself, that's what I paid for but didn't get :(

I was stunned so called back and reminded her of our prior conversations but to no avail she informed me that she would not honor the certificate so I guess I'm out the cost of the 3rd facial I purchased. It's not much $$ that I've lost but a lesson on the unreliability of gift card purchases. I know California has consumer protection but totally not worth the hassle.
