Sea Ott helped my son improve his strokes and build swimming stamina. Great experience, as he's in high school and still a swimmer!

We have both of our children enrolled (5 and 3). Our five year old is in private classes and our 3…read moreyear old is in a group class. The kids are making incredible progress in the pool. They have a wonderful time and look forward to each lesson. I can't recommend this safe, friendly and knowledgeable school enough. Our daughter's private instructor, John is just incredible. First, she has the same instructor each lesson. He has formed such a bond with her. She trusts him and really has a wonderful smile on her face the whole time (even after coughing a little from the water). Her confidence and skills are growing day by day. The group classes are also stellar. Don't be turned off by the "group" part. The ratio is kept down to 3 to 1 and each kid gets plenty of solo instruction. They are given appropriate breaks and then it back out with an instructor to learn more. Our son has a warm smile on his face the entire time. His skills have grown leaps and bounds. If you're looking for classes for your kids this school is definitely worth taking a look at. At first we thought it was a little expensive (and compared with schools like 'The Connection" it is, but the results are completely worth it. They run a safe, friendly and fun school all while being focused on developing real skills.

Yes, I signed a cancellation policy. However, if there's anything I thought businesses learned…read morethrough this pandemic was that we have to remain flexible within reason. People's comfort levels change based on new information that keeps coming out regarding COVID. I was so happy when I found an affordable option of swim classes for baby & me. However, I should've listened to the reviews on Yelp. The classes were good. However, now that COVID cases have started to rise pretty high again. This strain seems to be hitting very young kiddos a little harder. So, I asked if I can wait to do the next round of parent child classes until case numbers go down again. They don't take any COVID precautions and my child is unvaccinated. They said no... The only thing I can do is "ask the instructor to wear a face shield" (it's not a private class, there are other people). So this means I have to choose between possibly getting sick or wasting my money. I was definitely planning on being a repeat customer, but not anymore. I'll take my business elsewhere, even if I have to pay more.

The instructor cancelled the class citing water temperature issues, but the swim school management…read morerefused to offer a credit or arrange an alternate class, claiming it was not their responsibility. If they are not liable for the facility, that should not excuse the cancellation of classes without proper resolution. The teacher often arrives late, and again, they claim no liability. Water temperature is inadequate -- still, they take no responsibility. Honestly, it's hard to understand what they are actually accountable for.

This swim school is exceptional. The wonderfully diverse staff truly cares, and the enthusiasm they…read moreshow in their work is evident in how much my children have learned. (We've used two other swim schools for significant periods of time, and my oldest still couldn't swim.) The young man who manages the pool on Friday nights is a GEM. I've seen him hop in the pool to give a student extra help, calm a crying baby, and assist a student with special needs. He's kind, upbeat, and dedicated, which sets the tone for the teachers and lifeguards. The set up is also perfect for families. Having private dressing rooms doesn't seem like a big deal, but at other swim schools, I was unable to take my oldest (a boy) into the women's locker room with me. It was a definite issue. My husband and I love this place. My kids love this place. I'm happy to give my money to a business with a top notch staff invested in the success of their students.

A lesson is 30 minutes long and there is usually one instructor teaching 4 kids and the last 5 minutes the instructor gives the parents the update. So technically, each kid gets about 6 minutes per lesson. Just like learning everything else, if you want your kids to do well, you have to then practice during the week. The staff is always nice and helpful. His instructor is very patient and is very good with kids and getting them to do things. The pool is heated and lessons are all year round. I don't have any complaints but just know your kids are only getting about 6 minutes per week. You just have to be patient and teach your kids on the side. They will get there eventually.
