Brought my kids in as we were perusing all the stores on the street. They immediately noticed the used Hot Wheels and Monster Trucks. Despite the fact that they were used and priced TWICE as much as if they were brand new, I was going to purchase a bunch for them anyway just because we were there and the kids liked them. As we moved along to see what else in the store we would purchase, I noticed a woman staring at us with evil eyes I guess suspicious as if we were going to do something bad. She wouldn't let up with the stink stares. Realized she ran the store, or ran it that day. The horrible looks at us didn't stop. She even said things under her breath (couldn't understand, maybe in a different language), but I knew it was derogatory or negative about us. I immediately told the kids to put all the stuff away and we would go somewhere else. As we were leaving, another family was leaving I guess for the same reason, telling me "I guess we're not shopping here either." I'm not going to support a store that treats their customers that way. Maybe she's had too many bad experiences with other people, but we surely weren't those. We were ready spend money there, but never now ... and I urge others not to. Unless you like to be judged maliciously and made to feel very unwelcome. read more
