We took our 15 and 16 year olds for a 30 minute ride on Monday June 11, 2018 at 2pm. While my husband and I waited at stable, 20min in we saw both horses with saddles but not our daughters running back to barn. I ran out to field n found one daughter walking back to me n other daughter laying on ground. I was told by Patrick there was a rattlesnake, it spooked horses and my girls were bucked off. My oldest could hardly walk so we went to ER immediately. She had a bruised tailbone and bone bruise on elbow. We exchanged info before we left. After almost 48 hours no one ever called to see if they were okay. I called Patrick and he said he didn't call because he got to busy taking care of other people coming in to ride and being at vet with his horse. I told him that shows a lack of respect towards your clients that you can't follow up to make sure everything was ok. If Patrick would not have started screaming snake and yelling Go Go Go. The girls wouldn't have been bucked off. Now our vacation ended with a $1000 deductible ER bill, $34 prescription bill and our girls stiff and miserable the last 2 days of our vacation. After reading some of the previous reviews I was skeptical about going to this place. My daughter is 3 and son 13, and neither of them have been on a horse before. We decided to visit the location and then make a decision. We were told the ride is 30 minutes, and the property is on 58 acres. The horses were very nice and cooperative. My husband and I have been on other horse rides that were 5 star, but for the kids first ride it was nice. My kids enjoyed it, and the tour guy was nice. read more
