Yes, he played music, but even more, he performed the role as our reception coordinator. Like many brides, I originally thought that I needed to hire someone who could just play music. After seeing many positive reviews of Michael's services online, my fiance' Justin and I met with him in person. During our meeting, we realized that Michael was the real deal and that we needed to work with him. Michael explained how he would do much more than just play music -- he would help with planning the reception events with us, he would routinely meet with us throughout the whole planning process, he'd make sure the flow of the entire event made sense, etc. And he did exactly that! We Skyped with Michael on one occasion and also met in person on a few occasions. We also met at our reception site with Michael so he could plan out the event details, the location of the grand entrance, etc. Throughout our planning, Michael also was very prompt to respond via email whenever I reached out with questions, ideas and concerns. Michael told us time and time again that our job as the couple was to just enjoy our reception; his job was to make sure that it ran smoothly. And Michael kept that promise. Justin and I danced, mingled, enjoyed our food, and had a wonderful time at our reception. We never had any question about what's next, where do we go, aren't we supposed to cut the cake at some point? When we needed to perform a specific task at our reception, Michael found us and briefly gave us a reminder. On the music side of things, our dance floor was crowded the entire night. Of course as the bride and groom, we were busy talking with so many people, so we were not on the dance floor too much. Following up with one of the bridesmaids next day, she said, "I was on the dance floor the whole night!" Michael's planning and organization services combined with his DJ expertise was worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend him to any bride and groom looking for a DJ -- and then some. We will forever be grateful for the contribution he made and the hard work he put in on our very special day.

We used Jukeboxx Media for our wedding after receiving a recommendation from our venue coordinator…read more We were married at Studio Dan Meiners in Kansas City, and everything else was so on point with them that we took their suggestion to hire JM and ran with it. We originally wanted a string trio for more traditional wedding music, and planned to switch to a DJ after the ceremony. We had a phone consultation with Chris about what kind of music we wanted, and he accommodated us for a late night phone call (despite being a dad with two young kids!) which we really appreciated. My (now) husband and I went over our style of music which was Jazz/R&B and Chris ended up adjusting our day-of trio to a jazz trio, to better fit our music taste. Chris/JM allowed us to request two...uh... *interesting* choices for our processional/recessional. We said "....how do you feel about Outkast 'Prototype' for the processional and a Talking Heads song for the recessional?" and his response was "Awesome." What a weird request - so grateful for Chris for making our choice a reality. Day of, the trio was on time and well dressed. The songs turned out BEAUTIFUL and I had chills walking down the aisle to two incredible songs that meant a lot to me and my dude. The rest of their two hour period was Jazz/R&B style and our guests LOVED it. Lots and lots of compliments on having something a little different and really high end for the ceremony/cocktail hour. We would recommend them again in heartbeat. We spent more on desserts than we did on our trio and we wish we had paid them for longer! Hire them!

Wow, wow and wow! What can I say other than wow! We were…read morelooking for a photographer for our upcoming wedding when a friend had to pull out and went to craigslist to hep us with our quest. We heard back from a couple of people and set up a phone call with them (highly recommended). When it came to talking to Noel we were both giving the thumbs ups due to his enthusiasm (he actually likes photographing weddings!) and laid back attitude. We finished the call with "you are our photographer" and he sent us over an amusing questionnaire to help him prepare for our meeting. We met with him earlier today for our engagement shoot (see uploaded photo) and admired his creativity and again the cool laid back attitude. I consider myself pretty bad in front of a camera but he made me feel very comfortable and was able to take some great shots of us giving enough but not too much direction. The locations he chose in downtown LA were awesome and the pictures badass. At the end of the day, both my fiance and I were remarking on how relaxing a day we had and how glad we were to do it (we were just going to have him do the wedding but after checking out the wonderful pictures on his website were easily convinced that we should get him to do an engagement shoot). We'll be getting married in a couple of weeks and we can't wait to have him capturing our big day!

Nolte's was the fourth bridal place I went to in KC. I'm a pretty modern bride and from the street, I was worried Nolte's was too traditional for me. I was wrong. I was lucky enough to have Michael Nolte be my gown consultant and he is incredibly charming and great at what he does. He even got us in 20 minutes early when our other appointment ended early. There are little details Michael will notice that literally no other gown person in the area will. He asked me to take my watch off, he observed my engagement ring to see what kind of style I'd be looking for, he made sure I saw what I would look like from every angle, and he even managed to find a dress that was an exact combination of the two dresses I liked the most. I ultimately bought the dress the same day and got 15% off for purchasing it then - a huge bonus that allowed me to get a veil from there too. The room you try dresses on in is also HUGE and definitely the biggest in the area. They don't allow you to take photos because Michael says you'll dwell on it and ultimately end up either hating your dress or your body. This is TRUE and I'm glad I don't have a photo of it!
