In the summer of 2024, I found Nick Dandurand's business card in the backseat of my then-wife's car. I did not hear or see his name again until January 2026, when he represented her in filing for divorce. That discovery, followed by my experience dealing with him during the divorce, is why I am writing this review.
He represented my wife, not me. What follows concerns my direct experience with him and his office.
I found dealing with his office an exercise in frustration. Responses to basic inquiries were painfully slow, and my experience left me with the impression of an office that was disorganized and difficult to communicate with.
His demeanor toward me, my attorney, and the judge in Madison County struck me as rude, abrasive, and unnecessarily antagonistic. I expected strong advocacy for his client. I also expected an attorney to exercise restraint, judgment, and basic courtesy. In my view, his behavior during and after court proceedings fell disgracefully short.
The high-fiving I witnessed was especially offensive to me. These proceedings involved a family and children whose lives were affected. Watching that gesture in those circumstances was sickening. I cannot speak to his intentions. I can say that I experienced it as profoundly insensitive.
His Facebook and Instagram profile pictures also show him wearing a "Buttfingerer" T-shirt in two different photos. I find that public presentation crude and juvenile, particularly for an attorney entrusted with consequential family matters.
I left these interactions appalled by his demeanor and deeply unimpressed by his professional judgment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him. read more
