We were coming in for a wedding and encouraged other guests to book here too. It is easy to get to and from the airport. We took an uber (short drive) but the hotel does have a shuttle if you arrange it. We learned that lyft has more drivers than uber in this area if that is helpful to anyone. Things we loved: - the add on during booking was worth it (strawberries and champagne) - the kitchenette area is not tiny - I love the non slip floor in the bathroom and shower. The look of it and the functionality. please link me, I need this floor at home! - mattress comfy - very clean rooms, robes presented on beds very nice touch. - dimming lights Staff are nice and they have a little coffee breakfast nook with goodies by front desk as well. This location is very walkable to go get a burger or breakfast sandwich down the street too. Super bonus is the treasury restaurant inside the hotel through the safe door. We are suckers for history and a swanky atmosphere. I wouldn't want to park here - it is a tight lot. Even the Ubers and Lyfts have trouble getting in and out because it is narrow. I mean people do, I just personally would not. Thanks for the wonderful stay. If we have to come back to Sioux Falls we won't be staying anywhere else but here.

It's also lit up at night. You can't go on this arch, so you can only enjoy it from ground level or if you go in one of the buildings nearby. There was parking lot parking right next to the sculpture, but you can also travel on the riverwalk. I really liked the meaning of the arch too; at the center of the Arc of Dreams is a 15-foot gap, 80 feet above the river, representing the leap of faith dreamers take to see their dreams come true.

When you watch your server literally counting out how many small olives or pepperoncinis they're allowed to put on your sandwich, you're at the wrong sub shop. The people working here were genuinely nice and friendly and you could tell they have a strong rapport with the regulars, but I was just so disappointed in my sub. If I had to choose, I would pick Jersey Mike's over this location every time. It's not even close. I can't recommend eating here. We both love old historical museums, and this turned out to be one of the nicest surprises we've had since making South Dakota our home. The courthouse itself is beautifully restored. The architecture alone is worth the visit. Walking through the building really gives you an appreciation for the craftsmanship of another era. One thing that especially fascinated me were the old architectural drawings on display. It honestly amazed me to think that all of those detailed designs were created entirely by hand without computers or modern drafting programs. The amount of patience and talent required must have been incredible. The museum gives a wonderful glimpse into the early history of Sioux Falls and how different life once was here. Looking through the exhibits, furnishings, photographs, and displays made me reflect on how much simpler life must have seemed back then, even though I know it certainly had its own hardships. As newer residents of Sioux Falls, it also helped us feel more connected to the city we now call home. Sometimes when you move somewhere new, you know the streets and stores first, but not the story underneath them. This museum helped fill in some of those gaps for us. We also wound up spending far too much time in the gift shop and left with quite a few souvenirs. Mostly though, I just enjoyed spending the afternoon strolling through the museum with my honey, learning a little more about the history of the community we've become a part of. It made for a very peaceful and memorable Mother's Day.
