A pleasing selection of home-made cakes and scones and other treats tempt the taste-buds, with panninis, cebattas and wraps being the main part of the sandwich selection. Everything is well-made and the staff are courteous and friendly. Still looks pretty good though, and head and heels above the other cafes in town (yuck) and especially when compared to what it used to look like six years ago before it became Mocca-Moocha. If you have read my other reviews you will realise I am a design snob (!). Adequate seating inside and out, all food is placed on display and the prices are reasonable in comparison to the large franchises and chains throughout the town, and i would choose this place and Grind coffee shop above them any day. It is very popular being in an ideal location. Keep on going Mocca-Moocha! I will update this review as this cafe improves!

When I approached the counter and asked to upgrade to a large sandwich, I was informed it wasn't possible. I then ordered a ham and cheese toastie and requested some tomato and lettuce, only to be told it wasn't an option for that particular sandwich. I wasn't offered an alternative or an upgrade, which was disappointing as a sandwich without any salad isn't quite the same. The manager's response wasn't very helpful either. Despite this, when it was time to pay, the machine suddenly went down, causing me to miss out on my points. As a regular customer, I believe a full refund for today's experience is fair. I understand now that the ham and cheese sandwich doesn't come with salad, but this detail was not very clear in the tiny print or the pictures displayed at the entrance.

And the walls are covered with inspirational quotes and sayings so, while you're waiting for your sarnie, you can amuse yourself by reading the walls. She's also one of the cheapest sandwich shops in town. The best food by far though are her curries. £2.50 for a homemade delicious curry (which comes with rice, naan or chapatis). Not for the faint hearted though as they can be quite spicy!
