And should you need it, you can get excellent advice on any gardening matter, particularly important to those new to gardening. The nursery also carries a good range of garden furniture, planters, and garden tools. Swiss Valley Garden Centre is always my first port of call for gardening needs. This time I found the perfect clematis, and just the right tree for my small front garden, an Amelanchier Lamarkii.

It may appear small but covers a vast area. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There is a great variety of products and it will take you a while to look through it all.

The store has a lovely cafe which serves lovely home cooked food and I know a few people who visit just to eat here. The range of products in the store is excellent with everything from sports wear to sofas however the downside is that it comes at a cost. The store has long had a reputation for being overpriced and whilst you get what you pay for, it sometimes takes it out reach of most peoples pocket.

Homebase is a new addition to Llanelli located in the newly opened Parc Pemberton. There is a large…read morefree car park here and you can usually find a space quite close to the store. It is tucked away in the corner and gives the impression of not being very big but this is not the case. The store sells a good range of DIY items and also has a garden centre. On browsing I would say that the range they stock is not as good as the close by B&Q and is also a little more expensive. I would also say that on both occasions that I have visited staff have been unable to help me with a basic query. The store does therefore seem to have a few teething problems but on the whole is worth a visit.
