There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

Also they sell books , brick a brack and ornaments along with toys and childrens books. I hardly ever buy any clothes from here anymore as I find I only have to put an extra £1 to buy brand new . They have a good selection of books at good prices , and the kids books are always very cheap. The one problem I have with this shop is it is tiny and so it is impossible for me to take a buggy in the shop as I just get in the way , so I tend to leave my husband or mum outside with the buggy so that I can have a look round. You can still get some good bargains in these charity shops and it is a good way of recycling.

I have found other things too at low prices and can never resist a browse around if I'm in the area. The clothes are always freshly laundered before being displayed.There's a cubicle at the back of the shop where you can try things on. The shop is in the main shopping street of Morriston too.

There is also a clothing section for men, children and babies. You will also find a good homeware and gifts department. You will need a membership card to be able to purchase anything , it costs £1 to join up and is very simple to do. Everytime you make a purchase you will need your card. I love the clothing in here for babies and children it is so cheap but very good quality.

There I found my perfect dress, a pale lemon gown with thin straps. And a size 10. That should've sent me packing, but it did not. The ladies in the shop were adamant they could alter it to fit me and set about pinning me in to get the right size. And they did it, a size 10 dress taken down to a, well, a size 4 I'd say since I wasn't fitting into any size 6 dress I tried on. It fitted like a glove, both for my year 11 and college proms. The service is second to none, they're always willing to help and it's one of mum's favourite shops (because of their hat collection)

Me and my mum picked out a few dresses and the sales assistant chose a few based on my preferences and I found the perfect dress. The assistant was very helpful in getting shoes and accessories to help me achieve my vision. The seamstress made all the changes we needed and I felt perfect on my wedding day.

I don't want a strapless dress and managed to find about two that were in this category, tried them on but decided they weren't for me. While my mother and I then tried to leave the sales lady got quite stroppy and told me I needed to change my ideas or that I would have to sew a jacket onto a dress because nowhere would have what I wanted. Needless to say this is not the case. Also while we were standing there being castigated, the ceiling started dripping on us!
