Going in and finding exactly what I wanted made the shopping spree more than wonderful. The store was clean and the product in the section I was in, needed a lot of attention, however I did manage to find something at an awesome price. After picking out my treasured piece, I looked around the store for a few minutes more and then I headed over to the cashier where the service I received got better and better and better. SERVICE* So in reality, the service was GOOD because I found the container store. That's having a store available in the town I was visiting. The service got BETTER because they had what I needed, at a reasonable price and it's availability. The service was at its BEST when I checked out and paid less at check out and, not only that, I'm excited now.... The cashier left me dumbfounded when she put a Bed, Bath, & Beyond (BB&B) coupon in my bag. I was literally like, what's this. What's happening, what's going on. And then she told me that The Container Store will be stocking BB&B products in the store really soon. TOUCHDOWN!! IYKYK if you didn't, NYK! I just made that last part up to keep the acronyms flowing. It's Now You Know. But in all seriousness, I can't wait to get back to shopping here. And having a plus one that is so willing and patient felt surreal. Hands down, they gave me two good reasons to... Inspire more, Yelp more!

I ordered something online to pick up here to save on the shipping fee. It's located in a big-ish strip mall near other prominent brands like Trader Joe's and Paris baguette. There were a lot of parking spaces but the lot was def a bit packed around noon on a Saturday. The container store itself was very big and organized. All of the heavily discounted goods were to the front of the store, and they sure caught my eye. I was assisted with promptly. The whole transaction for pickup took about 10 minutes, most of which I think the worker spent some time looking for it in the back. I'd come back here again if I'm in the area.

Chris did a nice, clean installation. I love the final product. (I replaced my bedroom furniture with a wall of built in shelving and drawers). BUT. BUT there is another measure of a company and that is customer service. I did not immediately notice that my drawers are not all aligned the same. It was about a week after install that I noticed it. Minor issue but this was NOT an Ikea purchase. I spent well over $4000 for a bedroom unit that is opposite my bed and stare at. I notified Robin of the issue on December 16, 2025. Robin is very responsive but she doesn't seem to have any influence on the scheduling of repairs. After 2 or 3 emails, it is now February 7, 2026 and I still have not heard from anyone or been scheduled for correction. I am happy with the product but the lack of resolution after almost 2 months will make me think twice before using Closet By Design again.

After we agreed on our layouts she came again to confirm all measurements. A week later Bonnie and her team showed up and worked to get the job done quickly but without sacrificing anything in quality. We love our new closets and would not hesitate to recommend Symmetry to anyone. Two days after installation, I discovered my engagement ring and diamond earrings missing from a box I had on my bedroom dresser (they arrived 1 hour early to the appointment, so I wasn't done removing and putting away all valuables). When I called the next day to report this to the Owner of the Company, I was told "Oh, well it must have been so and so, we fired him the day after your job because he was new and we didn't have a good feeling about him." There was no offer to rectify this and it's awful to know that they are employing people whom are sent into clients homes that are not vetted or who are not trustworthy.

I'm normally a little weird about letting random people into my place (stranger danger and all that), so the fact that it's is run by a mother and daughter was a big plus for me. It sounds like they usually deal with larger scale operations than my place, but they didn't make me feel like a small project or like I was a lower priority.
