Martin repaired the our IAN damage by replacing the whole upper half of our lanai and also refastened the bottom with new hardware. Most importantly the advice/communication about what we were going to receive was the best part. He could have just told us to replace the whole thing like others but he instead gave us a quote for what was really needed. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Quality Service. Pleasant Experience. Highly Recommend…read more This was the second time I have used Andrew Fuhrmann and I am pleased with both services. The first time was a minor repair. He came to provide an estimate and he was able to repair on the spot. I was still waiting for other vendors to even return my call. Since front entryway screen and door was a more expensive service, I got a few estimates from other vendors. Some vendors provided estimates without even coming to the house. Andrew came to the house, did some measurements and asked us more specifics of what we wanted. His cost estimate was in the middle range from other vendors. I felt that he better understood what I wanted so I chose him for the service. Him and his wife were both pleasant to work with. Good communication, and follow up. They provided all the information needed for HOA approval, ordered the parts once I received Approval, and then emailed me when the parts arrived to schedule installation that same week. He came to the house 30 minutes early and installed the front entryway screen within 3 hours. I took pictures and showed my friends. His work also has 1 year warranty. Will definitely use Andrew again and will highly recommend him to my friends.

On try #5 I contacted Dodge at Affordable Handyman. He told me they were very busy the week I called, and that he would call back the next week to set up an appointment. He did! He also called the day before to reconfirm the appointment. Wow! Maybe the bar is just so low based on my other experiences with contractors and handymen, but I was pleasantly surprised. Then he proceeded to show up on time (actually a bit early). He and his co-worker made, screened and installed all the frames while they were here and were finished within a little over an hour.
