The initial training was thorough and quick and easy for anyone to understand. If you needed assistance at any point they were there to help. This experience is not for the fearful or timid, but my friend who was apprehensive at first was very enthusiastic about the final "Double Dare" zipline at the end. If you're looking for a good time in the trees Daredevil will deliver!

Daredevil Ziplines is pretty fun, and if you can get the discounted rate (a group of four or more,…read moreor a Groupon) it's a good price. Some of the guides were great. Some of them were..not so great, and more interested in flirting with their co-workers than making sure people were being taken care of. That's OK if you work at say, Bojangles. Not so cool if people are swinging between trees on just five minutes of training. I had read some scary reviews before going, and I think some were a bit exaggerated...still, there were definitely points where I didn't feel safe. Is anchoring a bunch of lines into a dead tree OK? I'm no zip line expert, but that seems like some pretty questionable engineering. All in all, I'd say 80% of the staff were really good, and 80% of the runs seemed legit. I think if they could shore up the other 20% and boot out the 17 year-old staff members who don't give a sh*t, this place could be really awesome.

Go if you like spinal compression fractures:…read more Went here on Jan. 28, 2022 with a group of friends. I had a blast until one of them literally broke her back. Near the end of the night one of the members of my party accidentally bounced into an area of the park that was undergoing maintenance. It was a 7 foot concrete pit! Mind you she was jumping on a trampoline, so she didn't fall from ground level, she fell from several feet ABOVE ground level. To be fair, there was a small plastic chain over the entrance, but my friend easily cleared this when she was double bounced in that direction. We're estimating that she fell a distance of at least 12 vertical feet in total. As a result, she suffered spinal compression fracture that left her in a back brace for 8 weeks. When the injury occurred none of the teenage staff knew what to do, so thank goodness she had friends there who could take her to the emergency room. Not before a well-meaning employee offered my friend her hand and attempted to help her up, however. Word to the wise, if you've suffered a spinal compression fracture DO NOT MOVE, it'll make things worse. In hindsight we should have called 911 and waited for the professionals to put her on a stretcher, but neither we nor the staff knew that at the time. I wish I was making this up, but my friend is now half an inch shorter and very familiar with her local physical therapy center. In the interest of fairness, nobody wanted my friend to fall into a 7 foot concrete pit. It even had a little chain and sign. I would argue however, that at a trampoline park, it shouldn't be possible to do so. Laws of entropy kind of dictate that masses of bouncing people will eventually land in untended places. I shouldn't have to spell out the need for safety nets or protective barriers to the owners of a trampoline park... Aren't there building codes for this kind of thing? Thankfully the victim this time was a 21 year old with fully developed bones. I shudder to think of the consequences if a child had fallen that distance.
