Table Rock Art Guild & Gallery was honestly a solid stop. The place had character, the artists clearly care about their work, and there were some genuinely interesting pieces throughout the gallery. A lot of the collection leaned abstract ... not exactly the Beast's personal favorite style ... but art's subjective, and you could tell some people would absolutely love it. Even when a piece wasn't necessarily "my thing," there was still creativity and effort behind it that deserved respect. That's what makes galleries like this worthwhile. Local talent, different perspectives, and a place that actually supports artists instead of mass-produced wall filler from a furniture store. We went there to purchase a yard ornament for my mother in law. I will never set foot in this place again . The lady that owns this store came up to us and proceeded to insult my husband and I, telling us our children had no manners, and that we made her nervous and that we were taking stuff from her store, and to go on. There was no hello, no can I help you, nothing. Never in my 37 years of living have I ever had anyone tell me my children had no manners, ever! And we don't even know this lady! Beware!

We were nervous to bring in our 2 year old because of breakables, but there are 2 isles full of cool dinosaur toys where the shop owner encouraged us to let our son run and play.
