Only thing I am somewhat hesitant about is not physically signing anything once they were done and my card just being ran for the rest of the payment

He criticized our use of a FIXD OBD2 reader, warning that it could potentially brick the ECU, though it's my understanding that would be extremely rare. He then quoted over $500 for ignition coils and spark plugs on a 2009 Toyota Corolla even though only one cylinder was misfiring. When we declined the repair, his attitude changed significantly and he became confrontational, to the point that my wife was nearly in tears by the end of the interaction.
