Within a day or two, we decided to go with Black Diamond because they seemed very professional, had lots of good info about insurance claims, and after looking at their showroom and talking cost, we felt they would be a good fit for us. Definitely a great decision on our part! We didn't know anything about insurance claims, but Lorenzo and Tony helped us out, and put up with our millions of questions and surprise visits to their office. It was really easy to work between them and our insurance company. They went above and beyond as far as customer service, because we asked them to work around our renter's schedule, which they were happy to do, and they helped me out by bringing over some trim board I needed to paint before the install. They definitely didn't have to do that, but did it anyway, which we really appreciated! Lots of positive things to say about Black Diamond and the crew, but mainly we have a lovely new roof, which included a tear-off, new sheeting, ice guard, new composition and drip edge, all installed to code and made to last. The clean up crew did great, too, and even came back to do an extra lap around the house to make sure my renter didn't have any stray nails in his driveway. Not only that, when I fired them, Lorenzo threatened to put a lien on my house. I ended up paying $19k for the slab of concrete to the right that Black Diamond did with requests of $20k more, a showdown in my front yard upon being fired, confirmation from two other concrete contractors they didn't lay the rebar to code, and poured only four inches instead of the five we needed for boat storage.
