He and his crew sourced them, painted them, upgraded the anchors in my cinderblock, and installed them quickly. Unlike other companies I wasn't told they had a 3 month waiting list or they'd come give me a quote only to never show up. Richard was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to meet our needs. I think he could tell I was desperate! We are so very happy with not only the product, but the quick responses provided by Richard and the quality of the product and his team. For a fencing/gating project at my home, I must have talked to many contractors who either outright denied the job, quoted me very unrealistic numbers (possibly because they didn't want the job) and/or ghosted me throughout the communications/contractual agreement processes. With Devil Dog Fence Co, however, my experience with them had been very positive and in complete opposite with 90% of other housework contractors (fencing and/or other work) I had communicated with. I found Devil Dog Fence Co through Yelp (Thanks Doug another Yelp Elite who happened to have used him!) and called him one morning to see if he would be able to stop by to give me a quote. On my call, I highlighted some challenges with the work (wanting a really sturdy fence for my dogs, a fence relatively high and some location challenges that may need additional compliances to the city's fencing/wall ordinances with corner lots). Richard was able to ask and answer me some questions and he and Anthony were able to stop by the very next day to discuss/give some ideas about what I might be able to do re: fence/gate. Within a few days of their visit, I was able to get a quote from Richard. I had a revision of the work and did ask Richard for some additional details for the work and he was prompt in adjusting the work and providing me with a good timeframe for potential start dates! On the week of the project, Richard and Anthony arrived on time and got to work right away. I was very happy with their professionalism (very polite and just generally nice/easy to talk to!) and the fact that they kept the place clean and in order for the 5-6 days that they worked on the fencing/gate project (and delivered the work on time!). I was very happy with the results...and wow...once my dogs saw the new fenced space they had...they ran out in excitement after seeing the new fenced yard area today. I knew I made a wonderful choice using Devil Dog Fencing Co service and would definitely use them or recommend them to anyone who needs any fencing/gating work in the Greater ABQ area in the future!

He asked for half for the deposit in the estimate so that he could get materials. I had had him replace part of the fence a couple years ago and working with him went fine, so I trusted him and paid him the deposit. This was very wrong. Ed has repeatedly blown me off when trying to schedule and will not return texts, voicemails, or even messages on other platforms. I've been trying to schedule with him for several months and have now asked for the deposit back since he never completed or even scheduled the project that he agreed to in the estimate. Ed is non-responsive. I'm really disappointed that he would steal my money as I liked his work and working with him previously went well. It must be assumed that this is no longer a reputable business.

The build quality of the gate I received in far better than previous gates I purchased. It appears to be substantially better quality. Build time was longer than expected and shipping was a fiasco, but once received the crating and packaging was excellent. Gate and associated ordered parts were well packaged for shipping protection. I would order from Amazing Gates again.

1 Star - Completely Unreliable and Zero Follow-Through…read more I placed an order with Amazing Gates for two gates back on March 21, 2025. I was told they'd arrive in 7 weeks. It's now been over 15 weeks and still nothing. Worse than the delay is the complete lack of communication. I've called Lindsey and Emily multiple times over the past month. Every time, I get the same runaround: "We'll check and get back to you." Not once have they followed through with a call or email. Nothing. I've attached proof. This isn't my first time ordering from them, which makes it even more frustrating. I run a construction business and I expect -- at the very least -- a vendor to notify me of delays. That's basic. We had a housewarming party on July 5th and the gates still hadn't shown up. It was embarrassing. Gabe did show up and told me that he would text me an address to see some of their work. He did not. I waited a few weeks later to call and was told that his cell was broken. So? If your cellphone is broken, what prevents you from calling me from another phone? What prevented you, Gabe from following up on what you said you would do? Maybe those good reviews were paid for? Honestly, I don't think they give a hoot so I'm leaving this review here and in other places as well to save honest folks the trouble of even thinking that this is a standup company.
