I contacted Richard of Devil Dog Fence, desperate because we live on an arroyo and our dogs see the coyote family that lives there and all the other wildlife and bark. all. day. I bring them in, they bark to go out, loudly and incessantly so I can't work. They go out, they are happily barking as long as I let them stay out. They have gone to dog training and they are so well behaved except for the barking. Richard suggested metal panels with small holes at first and then we moved on to no holes. He and his crew sourced them, painted them, upgraded the anchors in my cinderblock, and installed them quickly. Unlike other companies I wasn't told they had a 3 month waiting list or they'd come give me a quote only to never show up. Richard was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to meet our needs. I think he could tell I was desperate! We are so very happy with not only the product, but the quick responses provided by Richard and the quality of the product and his team. One of the things that frustrate me in ABQ is how difficult it is finding contractors who are prompt in responding to your communications and deliver great work. For a fencing/gating project at my home, I must have talked to many contractors who either outright denied the job, quoted me very unrealistic numbers (possibly because they didn't want the job) and/or ghosted me throughout the communications/contractual agreement processes. With Devil Dog Fence Co, however, my experience with them had been very positive and in complete opposite with 90% of other housework contractors (fencing and/or other work) I had communicated with. I found Devil Dog Fence Co through Yelp (Thanks Doug another Yelp Elite who happened to have used him!) and called him one morning to see if he would be able to stop by to give me a quote. On my call, I highlighted some challenges with the work (wanting a really sturdy fence for my dogs, a fence relatively high and some location challenges that may need additional compliances to the city's fencing/wall ordinances with corner lots). Richard was able to ask and answer me some questions and he and Anthony were able to stop by the very next day to discuss/give some ideas about what I might be able to do re: fence/gate. Within a few days of their visit, I was able to get a quote from Richard. I had a revision of the work and did ask Richard for some additional details for the work and he was prompt in adjusting the work and providing me with a good timeframe for potential start dates! On the week of the project, Richard and Anthony arrived on time and got to work right away. I was very happy with their professionalism (very polite and just generally nice/easy to talk to!) and the fact that they kept the place clean and in order for the 5-6 days that they worked on the fencing/gate project (and delivered the work on time!). I was very happy with the results...and wow...once my dogs saw the new fenced space they had...they ran out in excitement after seeing the new fenced yard area today. I needed A LOT of horse fence around my 6-acres so my puppies could run around the property. Rich responded to my message (and all subsequent messages) right away. Within a few days he gave me a quote and they got to it a few days after that. They were hardworking and were careful to make sure they didn't leave areas my dogs could get through. On New Years Eve, I saw them drive off and thought they'd gone home early to get ready for the holiday, only to find them working at the back of my property a few hours later. There is only one word for the job that Devil Dog Fence Company did for us...WOW! The front of our property had wooden posts and wire fencing that was falling apart and looked terrible. This was a new challenge for Richard and Anthony (owners) because part of our property is on a slope and difficult to fence. They had no trouble figuring out how to solve the problem, and the result is astounding​. We now have beautiful fencing, complete with wrought-iron decorations on each wood panel. Both my husband and I could not be more pleased with the result. We have no doubt that our new fence will increase the value of our home (not that we are selling). Great company, very responsive through yelp, text, and phone. Richard and Anthony came and gave a quote quickly, which is surprisingly hard to get from other companies, including a couple here on yelp. I called a bunch of companies, we were looking to raise our brick wall and only a few did it. I'd highly recommend them. They were professional, raised one wall one brick, 2 walls three bricks, also repaired some erosion at the bottom of one wall. They came the first day to take 50% deposit, got supplies, showed my fiancee the brick (slightly different color) to make sure it was ok, and then proceeded. Took about a week given some rain delay. Always closed my gate after they were done so my dog wouldn't escape. It looks great, don't use anyone else, including other companies on here (Bad experience, couldn't even get a quote forever, or way more expensive). Thanks again Richard and Anthony! read more

Devil Dog guys were great. I live in a mfr home park, and we have contractors that advertise in our monthly newsletter. So those contractors get a lot of business from our residents. There are over 400 homes. So there are contractors working here everyday. After I moved in I got a dog and needed enclosed fencing. I started getting quotes. The first contractor, was one of the well known contractors. I told him that my neighbor's chainlink fence between us was unsecur and my dog knew how to get under it, so i would need to install a parallel chain link fence. He had his guys take measurements and said that it could run up to $6k for all white vinyl. I didn't want want all white vinyl. I had Devil Dog come out and told them what I needed. They told me that they wouldn't need to run a parallel fence, tat instead they would run a metal tension strip through my neighbor's chainlink fence, tighten it and the dog wouldn't be able to get out. I told them that I wanted coyote fencing. They called me as soon as they found out that it was not available. They suggested cedar and i agreed. But then management said, "No Cedar, only chainlink or white vinyl." I called Devil Dog, and they understood, ordered vinyl fencing, chainlink fencing and gate. They gave me an agreeable date. The night before they would start they wrote me that due the corona virus and Governor's order, they couldn't work. I was disappointed, but so were most Americans. The next day they called me that they would start working as planned, and came out and started the job. They had called a government office and found that they were essential business and could work. For two days in a row they did all of the project ,except the vinyl panels that were on backorder. I expected to hear from them in 2wks when the panels came in. But they called me sooner, when the panels came in, and scheduled to install the next day. They were excellent and saved me $3400.!!! read more

I called them for an estimate, they showed up the next day, I accepted their bid, and the fence was installed the next day...as promised.
