I gave A-1 a call to see if anyone could come out today since it was a Friday and I didn't want to spend a whole weekend with a broken door. I spoke to Mike and he juggled his schedule so he could make it out later that afternoon. Actually he got here by three and had it repaired within an hour. Besides replacing the springs (he replaced both at my request so we wouldn't have to replace the other in a short time) he tightened the chain and lubricated everything. It was a super job and the price was reasonable. He even gave us a senior discount

When I called I explained to the lady who answered my situation. She did explain to me that they were booked all day and that they would be able to come tomorrow early. She then asked me if there was a car stuck in the garage, I informed her that my wife's car was. She then looked at the techs schedules and was able to fit me in a window between 2pm and 4pm same day! I was extremely thankful and glad I called them since they were able to go above and beyond in accommodating me. John, the tech, called before coming to let me know he was on his way. He arrived before his estimated time and came and inspected my door. He quickly could see what the problem was and informed me of what had to be done.
