Easy entrance and exit (especially since I came in off of 95), decor has been updated and everything was great. Kyra was so courteous and professional checking me in and out. Kelly had been helpful on the phone and Victoria? was even friendly cooking breakfast. I asked for a crib and it was promptly delivered. I was glad I brought a crib sheet but maybe the little padding and blanket hey provided would be ok for some parents. Great comfy bed. Dove brand toiletries. A perfect stay. Thank you

Elizabeth's assertion that the photographs are merely "management's property" does not address,…read moreexplain, or refute what the photographs actually document. The images clearly show internal electrical arcing, melted wire insulation, and a scorched electrical plug located inside the PTAC unit. These conditions involve internal electrical components located behind protective housing--components that a guest would not ordinarily have access to, much less the ability to alter or damage during a stay. The physical evidence depicted in the photographs is consistent with an internal electrical malfunction and raises serious questions regarding the inspection, maintenance, and condition of the facility's equipment. Inconsistency Regarding the Alleged Copper Pipes There is also a significant inconsistency between the company's police report and the charge imposed against me. In the police report, the company alleges that I stole copper pipes. However, the company charged me only for a PTAC unit and has not provided an itemized charge, invoice, valuation, or other documentation identifying any alleged missing or stolen copper pipes. The company should not be permitted to rely on an allegation of stolen copper pipes in a police report while pursuing a separate $700 charge for a PTAC unit without clearly identifying the property allegedly involved, the claimed loss, and the factual basis for each allegation. Lack of Proof Management has provided no competent evidence establishing that I caused damage to the PTAC unit or removed any copper pipes. A $700 charge imposed days after checkout--arbitrarily divided into $300 and $400 charges--does not, by itself, establish liability. Absent supporting evidence, the attempt to attribute an internal electrical failure to me, or to accuse me of stealing copper pipes, is unsupported and disputed. I will not accept responsibility for damage that the available photographic evidence indicates originated within the PTAC unit's internal electrical system. Nor will I accept responsibility for an alleged theft that the company has not substantiated or included in its charge against me. Requested Documentation If management maintains that I am responsible, it should produce objective documentation supporting each allegation, including: * A contemporaneous inspection report; * A certified electrician's assessment; * Photographs establishing the condition of the PTAC unit before and after my stay; * An inventory or inspection record showing that the copper pipes were present before my stay and missing afterward; * Fully itemized invoices identifying the property allegedly damaged or removed; * Documentation explaining the basis for the $300 and $400 charges; and * Evidence establishing the ownership, alleged loss, causation, and actual value of the property at issue. Preservation of Evidence I am formally requesting that management preserve all records, photographs, maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, invoices, inventory records, communications, surveillance footage, police-report materials, and other documentation relating to the PTAC unit, the alleged copper pipes, and the $700 charge. Any continued assertion that I am financially responsible should be supported by competent, verifiable evidence establishing the specific property involved, causation, ownership, the alleged loss, and the actual amount claimed.

First I need to emphasize between what it means to have expectations, and what it means to have…read moreexpectations met. In a hospitality outfit like this with the in-room jacuzzis and libertarian approach to collective usage of the property - something I think enhances its nostalgic charm - there are certain aspects that require either appreciative tolerance or overlooking it entirely. The situation is what it is. We all find ways to adapt. For example in our room, the toilet seal was completely broken for our first 12 hours we were there. I got weirdly familiar with how to fix the toilet. But it did get fixed. I agree with whoever here said strange lighting choices. Very true. And the jets are weak in the jacuzzi but it does get super hot. Ceiling mirrors are what you're there for. I saw Puxatawney Phil in the yard. Breakfast sucks, but I don't eat breakfast anyway. Coffee available all day in the lobby. Worth it! Would go back!

Black mold on the tub, mysterious stains all over the carpet, appliances did not work, that old 80s smell, and torn curtains that surrounded our heart shaped bed. The service was okay but we ultimately decided to leave early and did not stay the night as intended due to the rooms condition. We were not offered a different room and were refused a refund. So ultimately, maybe find another location?

Stayed here last weekend for 2 nights for a family wedding. We saw lots of families/wedding parties…read moreso my guess is its a pretty popular wedding venue and hotel close to outside Philly. Check in was a little messy but I think that was the party in front of us as there seemed to be some mix up with their room. We were able to check in fine but our cards stopped working mid day the second day and we had to get new ones. Several other guests mentioned having the same problem. Might've been a system glitch. We had one of the "renovated" rooms but it felt cold. Bare floor, bare walls, hardly any natural light. Toilet had issues flushing here and there and there's little to no shower pressure. At least the bed was one of the better ones I've had at a hotel. Breakfast is available at the cafe on site but be careful. Its $18.95 NOT COMPLIMENTARY. ($15.00 + 20% gratuity) You can also just get coffee and a la carte items like muffins, pasteries, etc to go. We were not informed about this and ended up paying for the buffet. Offerings were standard: Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bagels. Honestly I've had better complimentary breakfasts at smaller hotels but if you're in a pinch its fine. Opt for the ala cate. Staff were very friendly and accommodating so I can't fault them for that. But the website listed the price as $11 so the $18 price was a bit alarming. Parking is free and location wise its about a 15 min drive to a lot of shops and venues, 45 min to center city Philadelphia (With traffic) so overall a good spot right off 76. We were able to pick up my husband's tux at a local men's warehouse after a size mistake and get gas/food at a wawa and chick fil a near by. Overall a solid 3 for good location, friendly staff, and free parking.

There is a refrigerator but too bad there was not a microwave. We were here for a conference held at the hotel and they did a fantastic job.

I would say the location is great since its near walamrt, wawa along with many different restaurants. If you are into indian or asian food, there are many choices nearby to you. Hotel looked clean and well kept with service and front of staff during their jobs with anything that you asked for. The rooms were pretty standard, I did enjoy the fact that it was meant for extended stay so it came with kitchen suite. It is located a little inside by a residential area so I would not worry about any theft but they do have cameras and they do take down the license plate number of cars so no one can solicit. I have no complaints and would gladly stay here again.

The definition of no-nonsense professional friendliness…read more First off, I'd like to start with the manager, Ms. Kim. She's a wonderful lady who does her job and does it well. She personally checks rooms after they are cleaned and even runs her finger over lamp shades and on top of cabinets in the kitchenette areas to ensure they are indeed truly CLEAN. She's a respectable businesswoman and a genuinely good person, willing to help where she can. I cannot respect her or thank her enough for the work she does to keep this building up and running. Now for the rest of the staff, they all do a fantastic job with the 3-11 shift front who get the brunt of the check ins even managing to do it with a smile. Something in this line of work that you find oddly lacking. The maintenance and janitorial staff do a great and timely job ensuring each room is up to code and any repairs that get reported are fixed within the week. I cannot name another hotel who does the job this fast. Finally I would like to say that I truly enjoyed my stay here, the rates and payment methods were reasonable for hotels in the area and they make the place feel welcome. P.S. This hotel actually has coffee in the mornings.

Good: shower water was hot, like SUPER HOT, like watch your kids near the tub hot. Good for a long…read moreshower. Bad: Everything was old, cracked, torn, dirty or just plain beatup. I mean a picture is worth 1,000 words and ive got several. Bathroom was a nightmare, toilet was new, but they put the old broken toilet seat on it! Like your brand new toilet didnt come with a seat on it?? Towels were dirty when we got there, already used and just folded and put back on the shelf. Towel rack broken. Privacy lock wouldn't close all the way. Just ugh... Their "on the go" breakfast consisted of two types of granola bars and one muffin. But thats better than nothing I guess? The kitchenette came with full size fridge which was nice, also microwave, and two cooktops, but nothing else. No silverware, plates, cups, pots or anything. How are you supposed to cook? The ugly: Im not a pampered princess, but act like you want me to be here. My kids and i have traveled the past 14 hours and its 2 am on Christmas. We waited an additional 20 min for your system to reboot, and then because it kept kicking you out, waited another 20 min before we could get the key to our room. You tossing the key on the shelf and saying "Here's your key, sign the screen and you're done, have a good night" and running off without even waiting for a response was ignorant and rude. I'll never come here again.

I've been having a hard time writing this review. I have really mixed feelings about my experience…read moreat The Lily Inn. I'll start with the pros: The Inn itself was beautiful and charming. It's 3 floors, with a sitting room, dining room, and kitchen on the first floor. A hangout room on the 2nd floor and bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There was an issue with the room we originally booked, and Candace upgraded our room for us.l before we even arrived. Our new room was great. It had two parts to it, a king-size bed, futon, and a beautiful bathroom. Candace and the Inn were also accommodating , as we booked on a third party site not realizing kids under 8 were not allowed and they allowed us to bring our 1 year old (he loved the place, too, btw). The bed portion of our bed and breakfast experience was wonderful. The con would have to be the breakfast part. So, first, we should have read their website before booking, as it does state that they serve continental breakfast during the week, and we stayed on a Monday night. As disappointed as we were, that's on us. However, what we were served wasn't even that, in my opinion. There were muffins, some grab and go granola bars, oatmeal packets, and some fruit (apples and tangerines). We were pretty disappointed in the spread. The breakfast options also stayed out all day and also played the roll of the snacks they offered. So when we arrived, the blueberry muffins and granola bars were out in the kitchen to take. We were offered the same thing for breakfast the next morning. Another reviewer stated that this felt more like an AirBnB, and I agree. I think one of the special aspects of a bed and breakfast is not only the charming atmosphere (check, they got that right) but receiving a nice breakfast in the morning. I get weekdays can be slow, so I can forgive a continental breakfast, but there should at least be some yogurt or toast or bagels or something. So, we will settle on 3 stars. The bed portion was a 4/5 star experience, but the breakfast was a 1.
