Really a gem. Clean and quiet. Tv was crappy but I'm old and couldn't really figure it out.

Spent the weekend here for a sorority conference and was pleasantly impressed with the hotel…read morefoyer/common areas, conference rooms, and food! The food service manager was very hands on and I'm sure she has a better title than I have indicated but she took my breakfast order and was also ensuring that the conference room dividers were pulled and closed when necessary. I can't say more than the breakfast was top notch as well as the chicken salad! A hidden gem!

Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question. Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement. The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms--so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager. Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.

I even heard the guy next door's alarm go off. You can also hear freeway noise all night, if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise great hotel - water is hot and pressure is great. Lots of space for work / luggage.

Everyone was super friendly. I didn't post any photos because there were a lot of other people posted theirs. My wife and I loved how the suites were decorated! It felt just like home! The room was also very clean and smelled very nice. We loved how the bed felt! It was super comfortable and the pillows and sheets were just right. The room was super quiet and you couldn't hear any road noise. The tv had a streaming option where you can sign in to your accounts and pickup where you left off. It signed you out automatically when you exited it. The breakfast in the morning down stairs was very good and tasty and the area was very clean. Thank you SpringHill Suites for an excellent hotel stay! Look forward to staying again! The ONLY negative thing I saw in the room was from the person that did the finish work around our suite with the caulk gun during construction did a very bad job and made a terrible mess of it. It was all over the sink and wall as well as the shower door and floor. I'm surprised it passed and wasn't seen by superintendent and made to fix it.... lol

The woman working the front desk was friendly and efficient, making sure we knew about breakfast and other amenities. My only complaint is that both restrooms downstairs in the lobby were out of service. This is disappointing when you arrive after a long roadtrip, or when you need to run to the restroom during breakfast. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The front desk staff was awful for their entire stay, which was three nights. At one point they asked for pool towels. It's been our experience that hotels don't really want you to take their room towels down to the pool and typically offer pool towels. She was told that if she stole the towels, they would be $50 each. And then she was reminded that if she stole the towels, they would be $50 apiece or $200 for the 4 she requested. At one point, she heard one of the female staff members very loudly berating one of the male staff members in the office area. They never once went to the front desk when they were greeted by friendly staff with a smile. As a matter of fact, no one was ever at the front desk to greet them, not one time, for anything they needed. The wait staff for breakfast were very nice and the food was good. Won't be back. Houston has plenty of other options.

Pleasant surprise. Nicer than expected!!!…read more We stopped for a sleep on the last night of a long road trip across country, and found ourselves in a large sized mini suite with a sumptuous king bed, nice desk, big TV, mini fridge, microwave and a great showerhead with wonderful water pressure. Everything was very clean, and the sheets and pillows were perfect. Even the A/C and heating unit was nicer than most, with only a low volume blower sound whenever it kicked on. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars (I would give 4.5 stars if I could) is because we did hear every step our above neighbor took when he got in around 3 am, and again when he got up around 6:30 am. I had wanted us to sleep in til 8:30 since we hadn't gotten in til after midnight ourselves and in bed by 1:45 am. The free breakfast and coffee was nice, albeit a little small on the array of food choices. But fresh fruit, a variety of small muffins, mini sausage sandwiches and hot oatmeal options were all available. And both staff members we interacted with were pleasant and cordial. ***TIP for a 5 star stay next time: Arrange for a top floor King mini suite. It would have been a perfect stay had we been on the 3rd floor.

I even had an issue with my Priceline reservation when I checked in at 11:04 pm, but the lady on duty worked with the manager and they got it all cleared up and I had my room. Then I needed to stay an extra night and Chintan himself handled it. While it's certainly not the Hilton or Executive, this hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and the Printer in the Business Office actually works! I'll be staying here again when I'm in town. Great prices, so if you're looking a little lower price, this is your place - great value for the price.

After staying here a few nights on different dates I figured it was time for a review…read more For me , the location is dead on convenient. Lotsa of nearby food choices that are hella easy to get to compared to the other HI just down the road off of I-10 heading towards Houston. The staff was friendly and the hotel cleanliness was great. I didn't use any facilities like the gym or pool area but it all looked to be in good condition. The hotel though is dated. Not as fresh and new as I am used to. The elevator was dead slow and on departure day, it was totally broken. Being on the 3rd floor, that kinda sucked but at least I was walking down with bags and not up. Though let me clarify that this location is far from a ratty Holiday Inn. That award for shittiest Holiday Inn still goes to Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pensacola West-Navy Base 307 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506. That by far is THE WORST location ever. Next trip there I may try the other location I mentioned above and see who is better but aside from the elevator, its a good HI Express.
