What the hell is the purpose of this place if not fixing lawnmowers? Meanwhile, this is WHERE the mower was purchased. I am glad I was able to find a much better business nearby (a small engine shop) which picked up, fixed, tuned up, and dropped off my tractor in 2 days, the guy explained what had been wrong with it and how to prevent it, and it runs like new now. He charged me $250 in total.

He was nice enough to tell me that he would just take the tore off and take it to United and I should be able to do it myself.
