My wife and I are first time home buyers and Manu was our realtor…read more We got our dream house with her but I'm going to try and be objective in this review. Manu has been in the business for a long time now. The connections she has came in clutch multiple times. We got a phenomenal interest rate through her contact, got really helpful escrow people, and had multiple instances of going to open houses and name-dropping her as our agent. People in the business recognize her. You have to understand what you get with Manu though. She played every single move the safest way it could be played. We didn't put multiple offers - only one house at a time. We had contingencies to protect our bids from bad evaluations. Even celebrating the closing was only Manu-approved after the loan was approved and the docs were signed. All of which I appreciate because I'm fairly risk averse. Manu's team is a powerhouse. She made every deadline with room to spare. She was also really good at dealing with my bad mood and stress (real estate is brutal). Although towards the end I think she was a little grateful to be done with us lol. Her MO is also to give you a customized portal in MLS for houses but full honesty, my wife and her house hunting doom scrolling probably found more houses. The house we ended up buying too didn't make it through the filters. She also only comes to open houses after you like them. So she's not going to spoon feed you everything but she makes those expectations pretty clear straight away. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that her advice was a big part of why we stepped up from looking at smaller townhouses to a single family home. No regrets there. Now one month into living at the new house, we did learn some things the hard way like home warranties are fairly useless, Yelp and Home Depot are your best friends, and if you call someone for a free inspection, they're honor bound to find something stupid for you to have to fix. So yeah again, you're not going to be spoonfed everything. So why 5 stars? I did get my dream house. And this whole experience was possibly the most stressful thing I've ever done in my life. Through it, Manu and her team were a good group of people to have in my corner.

As a resident of Sierra Crest, I first noticed Zaid Hanna's name back in 2024 when I saw his real…read moreestate marketing poster at my doorstep labeling him as the "your #1 Sierra crest Seller Agent." I snapped a quick photo of it, thinking I might consult him if I ever needed to sell. By the winter of 2025, I received another flyer from Zaid that read: "The market is frozen, but we didn't give up." Even though the market was rough at the time, that property sold shortly after. His words truly touched me. In the high-cost, wealthy Bay Area, a modest condo often doesn't get much attention; many agents wouldn't bother putting in the effort and would simply advise the seller to rent it out if it didn't sell quickly. Although I had never met Zaid, I saved his number in my phone right then because I was deeply impressed by his work ethic. In the spring of 2026, my mother unfortunately passed away, leaving behind a condo that needed to be sold. I was at a loss for who could help. The property's location wasn't ideal, and the market was slow, so I knew I needed a top-tier agent. While I initially considered finding a Chinese-speaking agent, for some reason, I decided against hiring a Chinese agent. That's when I thought of Zaid. One day afternoon, I gave him a call and described the condition of property. he scheduled our first meeting immediately. Zaid was very nice. Our first meeting went incredibly well. Zaid analyzed the market for me. It was April, and inventory was unusually high. He recommended a minor renovation, and I agreed because I knew it would change the look of the home. He was highly professional and honest with me, acknowledging that the market was tough, especially for condos. However, he emphasized that his goal was a quick sale upon listing so it wouldn't sit on the market. Zaid's true professionalism shines through his phenomenal team. From remodeling, cleaning to the official listing, every team member was diligent and responsible. The renovation took about two weeks--a bit long, but the results were stunning. The house officially hit the market around Memorial Day. Throughout the process, Zaid called me every Tuesday to give updates. Remarkably, after just 7 days on the market, we received an offer! This completely exceeded my expectations. Given the less-than-ideal location, I had mentally prepared myself for a long wait. Seven days was faster than I could have ever imagined. I had seen many condos on Zillow sitting on the market for over three months, forcing sellers to slash prices multiple times. I felt lucky. The subsequent escrow and contract process went smoothly without a single delay. All contingencies were removed exactly on schedule. Yesterday, on July 2nd, this modest little condo officially closed escrow. I am incredibly grateful. It is easy to sell a perfect house, but selling a property with an unfavorable location requires an agent with extensive knowledge, sharp skills, and precise valuation. I believe a challenging property is the true test of an agent's capability, and Zaid completely proved himself. He gives honest advice that both buyers and sellers should take seriously. I highly recommend Zaid and his team, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Her team of subcontractors is top notch. Tim, who handled the painting, was a true asset and a wonderful person. What made her exceptional was her communication with me and went the extra mile to help me bring the condo to the market. I am extremely grateful for that. I left California while the condo was still getting prepped for sale without a worry in my mind, because Laura and I had timed everything with the right people to bring the property to the market promptly and well positioned to sell. She handled everything in my absence, which was such a relief. The sale was a great success. It was fast, smooth, with no hiccups. I can't believe how lucky I was to have found Laura. We initially connected with her through our business school alumni network and already knew of her stellar reputation, as she had successfully helped two of our friends navigate their own home puchases/ sales in the city. The current SF market is moving incredibly fast--especially with the recent AI boom--and because inventory is so tight, finding accurate comps for a unique property can be a challenge. We had done a significant amount of "homework" before reaching out, but Laura's insight was invaluable. After working with her for a week, we were impressed by her market knowledge-- the data was well-supported by nuanced judgement that confirmed our own research and gave us much-needed confidence in our valuation. Ultimately, we decided not to put our home on the market at this time, but this process gave us a glimpse into the level of professionalism and expertise Laura brings to a real transaction. We would not hesitate to recommend her to any of our friends or colleagues looking for a sharp, reliable RE advisor in San Francisco.

Throughout the process he was patient, responsive and professional. For the sale, Wesley and his teammates were extremely efficient when it came to staging and holding open houses and we were able to sell my apartment after the first scheduled showings. The only really difficult thing I had to do was say goodbye to the apartment and move out. I am extremely picky and so when we began to tour houses, Wesley's patience and eye for details really helped narrow down potential properties that would be a good fit for me and we also struck out a lot of bad ones. Wesley's experience shines during touring. Just to name a few things he has a keen sense of smell for moisture/mold, can feel for the slightest unevenness in floors and can tell good from bad repair work just from a quick glance and feel, he has really seen it all. This is where a whole lot of Wesley's value comes from, he's not just another paper pusher...he actually enjoys looking at houses with clients and he is great at pointing out things that a normal person wouldn't see. Eventually a few months later we were able to close on a new house that was exactly what I was looking for. It was a pleasure to work with Wesley and he was so helpful throughout the entire process. As I said before he is thoughtful, smart, engaged and it's clear he loves what he does and I now recommend him to everyone I know who is looking to buy in the bay area.
