Last month the skin around my eyelids were inflamed so I went to see them, expecting to get a diagnosis of blepharitis and get some ointment and be on my way. but..the doctor doesn't give me a diagnosis- instead pushes a referral to an occuplastic surgeon with the initial opinion that I may have eyelid cancer because they " just don't like how it looks". so i go to the occuplastic surgeon and finally got my diagnosis...blepharitis ! and he prescribed the ointment. so I was stressed out a week as I anticipated the visit with the new Doctor (Yep this can happen whenever someone you trust suggests the C word to you). in addition, I had the expense with another $50 copay for a new specialist for something I believe they should have been able to diagnose and treat initially. After all, over the years, I have been treated for common eye infections by opticians at the mall and Patient First before. Also, I have heard of at least one other customer (a neighbor of mine) reporting the same experience. We shall see (pun intended).

Yes, you have to pay extra for the coatings, etc. but you have to pay extra for those no matter where you go - whether it be the doctor or another chain. My glasses and contacts both arrived in less than 10 days. I have nothing but great things to say. I worked with Kris and he was simply fabulous. As for my data problem, the gentleman provided instructions for how to move the data without losing it. After speaking to an Apple tech, who advised I get a new phone because my version 11 phone has only half the capacity of the newer phones out there because "the upgrades require more just to run the phone" and since I can't afford one at the moment, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill ! I am *very* happy to say I have one in Dr. Young He is not what might be called "typical" in the 21st century - doing as little as possible to get the job done and I'd be out the door. I needed a refraction which he did, taking the time needed to be sure it was right. He also checked my retina as carefully as my retina doctor at Wills. In addition he checked other aspects required for good ophthalmic care. I am not easily impressed by health care providers yet I am quite impressed by Dr. Young.
