They are the post office and DMV of credit unions. Not recommended at all. They will hold your funds for as long as possible in order to gain as much interest from it. The customer service is horrible. Their practices are highly unethical. read more

Too many listings to just leave a review for the general company. Absolute garbage. Telling me that my username and password I sent is wrong when I try to log into the website, yet I can use them to log into my mobile app. Locks me out of my account when I try to log into website. So now I have to waste my time talking to someone who either doesn't know, doesn't care, or can't help. All because they can't get their crap to work right. read more

Worst bank I have ever used. The ATM at the branch i use does not allow deposits since it was changed out over a year ago. I have to drive 30 minutes in the other direction to make after hour deposits. They just lost a $15000 check and can't even open the ATM till it gets served next week. They do not care about their customers and always treat me like trash. I will be canceling my account next week when I get my check back. read more

This is by far one of the worst banking institutions I've ever dealt with! First off the people you have to deal with over the phone are completely rude and frustrating to deal with. The online account management is so useless that they shouldn't even offer it to begin with. You want to pay on your loan with something other than a check? That'll be a $10 fee... I have used them for a vehicle loan and have been nothing but impressed with this organization! I was told by a credit union rep (from a different company) who was trying to pick up the remainder of my loan that "Scott Credit Union is for people with good credit, my group is for those with bad." "I guess I can't win your business." I have to say, I appreciate the honesty & boost in self esteem for working hard at stellar credit. They offer amazing interest rates, their loans move quick, their customer service on the phone & in person is great, friendly, and timely. My family and friends all know where to go when they're purchasing a new vehicle or home project/item. I was referred by a friend myself. read more

Scott credit union has the best rates on loans and they actually pay you interest on their free checking account . I would never call a big bank but whenever I call SCU they are helpful and pleasant. Also you get the feeling like the people who work there actually enjoy their jobs. Which makes a big difference. Ditch Wall Street. Go SCU! read more

Beware !! If you try to do a Home Loan. First they sent me email refit special $175 appraisal. After I was committed the price of the appraisal changed to $350. The after submitting all the info the under writers denied the loan due to a divorce decree involving a QUADRO (split half of your 401k ) The X has not processed their side to receive their money yet. Basically 12 year member and 21 ones loans down the road They got me for the appraisal money. Cheap shot. read more
