That was it. He then let me know that he was canceling my policy as per my request and within a week I received a check. I would recommend Dave to anyone seeking professionalism from their insurance agents. Note: If you cancel your policy just a few days prior to a payment being drafted from your account, that amount will still be drafted by State Farm then returned to you by check. Just a heads up.

After calling in to find out the news I was told the policy premium went up over 2x. I cancelled and am with another company. This is some of the worst service I have ever received. I would strongly advise staying clear of this location, there are much better agents out there. UPDATE: upon the policy fully cancelling State Farm has issued me a refund of ~$550 instead of the over $2,000 I am due. This is because they are calculating the refund amount off the new higher premium that I never agreed to pay. A VERY shady practice, and the customer service from Joe's team was absolutely non-existent. I have had to deal with them and the underwriters through escalations with the corporate office. Even the corporate office said multiple times my agent should be handling this directly by having conversations with the underwriter. I previously filled out a request for an online insurance quote for my car insurance. I received a return phone call from Anthony D'Angelo. We got into a conversation and he quoted me both car and motorcycle insurance premiums that were lower than what I had through Allstate and Mercury. He really went above and beyond to address my concerns, answer questions, and explain everything. I haven't found that before in an insurance carrier. He wrote up both policies over the phone and even sent me the binder and coverage cards via email after we hung up. I was so impressed with this guy. Give Anthony a call.
