We bought 5 yards and spent hours spreading it. A day later it rained and it completely washed the color away. It is natural looking now and after calling on three separate occasions we were told to read our receipt. There's no guarantee. First of all the receipt doesn't state that and while I get they can't guarantee everything, this is obviously a dye issue that they don't want to fix. We paid extra for dyed mulch not natural brown. They offered to let us buy two more yards at half the price. Why would be buy more that could possibly do the same thing. We have always loved the quality until this last time. We will be taking our business elsewhere. The first person we talked to was super nice but the last one was extremely rude.

Since this is my go-to branch, I know where to go. First stop is the new released. I usually get a max of two and pick up the rest I find from the regular stacks. Head upstairs to the fiction and mystery and found a light read and the next two murder/mysteries in a series I am reading. I can't miss a stop by the cookbooks; I picked out two new Mediterranean books and two by celebrity chefs. All done. I love self-check-out! You just set the books on the pad, scan your card, select done and you are good to go. My library bag was heavy today!

The second floor, accessible by steps or stairs has a computer lab and copiers available; like having a private office. Your library card gets you so much more than books...multi media access, free classes, notary services, office space. I always take advantage of the free $5.00 monthly allowance for copies. You can browse online and reserve books for pickup.

It's because it's out of the way that makes me largely ambivalent about recommending a visit. However, it's free, which is a major benefit for families on a tight budget. But, you'll burn gas to find it. It's small, so you may only spend an hour viewing the various birds, a few reptiles, and small mammals. Exhibits are mostly outdoors--good because a strong stench dominated the indoor exhibits. Young staff were on hand to answer questions. Signs also explained why wildlife were caged here. Most wound up here due to serious injuries; others due to becoming socialized to humans and unable to long survive in the wild.

It's all along a single road one-way that requires parallel parking. I only participated in the market, but I did see tennis courts and playgrounds. A Botanical Gardens is nearby that's highly regarded. On Saturdays they have music and food by the fountain. Absolutely a Saint Louis gem and can't wait to return soon.
