The staff made this office a pleasant place to go. They warmly welcomed you. They greeted you by your first name as you walked in the door. Dr. Jones was funny but highly skilled, so you felt at ease. It isn't that way anymore. I encourage you to look at more recent reviews and not base your decision on reviews from 2020 or earlier. All of the original staff are gone now. And sadly so has the charm and warmth this office exuded.

The next week my son was scheduled for orthodontic appointment where he was going to be scanned for Light force brackets. We were both super excited to start his ortho. However, my son's appointment was cancelled because Dr. Jone's team was not in it to win it. They failed to send the very costly treatment plan (around 650$) to the orthodontist. My son showed up for his appointment and it was cancelled. My son was disappointed. I called Dr. Jones office to speak with Dreama who states she is the office manager. I asked her why she did not send the plan to the orthodontist. Dreama said they don't do that. Well this is not true. It is customary when an orthodontist refers you to a dentist, the ortho and dentist work together. The dentist will send a treatment plan over to the ortho right away. When I asked to speak with Dr. Jones, Dreama said he would not speak with me. Dreama said Dr. Jones prefers his staff to handle things. When I insisted, she stated she would take my number and give Dr. Jones a message. I get crickets. I hear nothing. I called back and another lady from Dr. Jones office stated he did not want to talk to me and she would handle the situation. Now, if these ladies are telling the truth, it's a shame. Is Dr. Jones so important he cannot call the mom of a patient he is treating? Last time I checked, he puts his pants on just like we do. I am super disappointed in this dental office and will continue to tell everyone I know about my bad experience.

Her assistant, Melissa, was equally awesome during my visit. They listened to my concern about waiting until I was completely numb. I know it takes longer for me to feel the effects. She numbed me perfectly. I didn't feel a thing. I love that they added TVs in the rooms. I got the room playing 80s music. As silly as it sounds, it really eased my nerves and I actually had to stop myself from wiggling to the music lol. I have little to no pain after the numbing medicine wore off. The check in and check out staff are so friendly and helpful. When I booked my appointment, they were clear in the out of pocket fee. I highly recommend this office.

(4/11/25) This was only my second visit. I had a filling…read morescheduled, followed by a cleaning. The filling went fine, but I ended up waiting over an hour afterward for the cleaning to begin. Unfortunately, I had to leave after waiting nearly an hour and a half post-filling, with no update or indication of when the cleaning would start. In total, I spent about 2.5 hours there, and only the filling was completed. When I booked the appointment, I clearly mentioned that I had a time constraint and needed to be finished by a certain time. Despite this, the timing wasn't respected, and I had to leave before the service was completed. I informed staff to cancel any other appts that i had and left. Staff did not care, did not apologize and I am shocked how i was treated. (5/21) - I received a call for an upcoming appt (i canceled these per how i was treated at previous visit) I called office back to cancel this appt and explained why. Office still didn't care, didn't apologize.

As someone with a small mouth, I appreciate the fact that Dr. A and her hygienists have small hands to do their medical work. I've only seen females there, but I understand she has a male partner selected days of the week. The entire office looks for innovative ways to promote your dental hygiene habits, and by default, your dental problems, with or without some sedation. For some reason, when they take my blood pressure, it spikes sky high almost every visit. She continues to check it multiple times to keep me safe. At other offices, I've left with bloody gums, cheeks and tongues from where other offices have believed in just getting the job done, like an assembly line. I've been seeing Dr. A for maybe ten years now, and I've yet to leave with a bleeding mouth, thank goodness! Also, I've been called after hours to have her check on dental services she had performed earlier in the day, making sure I'm not in pain, or discomfort. You don't find many doctors willing to do that any longer. As a bonus, the office is beautifully decorated in a serene manner. It's the small touches like the best smelling anti bacterial hand cleaner and lotions in the bathroom that prove she looks at all the small details in every manner. You're also offered sunglasses or a quilt if you need them during treatment. But for me, I like watching the birds fighting over the feeders while I'm being treated. My only complaint is that she's always bundled up in her white coat with sweaters underneath, resulting in the office being almost too warm during procedures. She's getting better about the temp, but it's still pretty warm most days. Also, it's easy to pass the driveway on Battleground as there are no signs posting her name. If you have a minute, ask to see a picture of her spoiled rotten dog. He's a cutie!

Actually yes!…read more Aspen has their own annual insurance (around $60 I believe) for folks whose employer does not include dental or like me opted out (not that my plan was accepted anywhere around here according to a coworker). You don't know you need the insurance until a vertical root fracture happens. The practice also takes CareCredit and if you use cc you know how much that interest free payment plan means. The office administrators are incredible and will do their utmost to ensure you are seen sooner when experiencing pain. From a non-pain appointment I was also seen a little early (no complaints here). The dentists and hygienists are amazing. They listen without judgment and give honest opinions and referrals. They take seriously that some of us have childhood dental trauma and specific anxieties. When I needed one more shot of novocaine there were no questions asked and the molar extractions went quick and smoothly. I have always been allowed my noise cancelling headset and a female hygienist in the room if not a female dentist/oral surgeon. I felt seen, heard and respected. They tried to save my second molar and when it broke weeks later; I was immediately scheduled for the second extraction. I cannot recommend this place enough for affordable dental care.
