Was referred here by a friend. Wanted to see Dr Huynh but was told she's out on maternity leave…read moretil November. Bummer. But was highly recommended to Dr Stacy Cross. Previous owner of the practice. But she comes to fill in as needed. Was nervous about taking my month old newborn to get "adjusted" because I'm imagining it to be an adjustment like adults get. WRONG. They use a little handheld gadget that makes this clicking sound as they run it down their little spine. The lady that booked my appt I forgot her name was soooo nice! She made me less nervous about coming in. Anyways, Dr cross explained everything before she began and I held my little baby on my lap on her tummy. She didn't even cry. In fact it looked like she enjoyed it! She had a little misalignment on her left side. Which was causing her to be really gassy and fussy. They said these visits help with colicky babies. I'm desperate and gave it a try. After our visit the baby was still fussy but her cries were different! And that first night was the first night she slept through the night until 7am! I was shocked! 2nd night she cried but 3rd and 4th night since, she's been waking up but will go back to sleep unlike before. She'd cry uncontrollably. I'm taking her back once a week for a month to see if it helps her anymore. I'm convinced that it does! Highly recommended.

I selected Koudelka Health Center based on insurance acceptance, proximity to work, and Dr. Koudelka's additional certifications such as Graston Technique. I have been more than impressed with my treatment so far. I woke up for the first time with no pain after only two sessions. The best thing is he doesn't just crack your back and send you on your way (my previous experiences); he takes the time to show you exercises (most of which can be done at home with less than $20 of equipment) so the effects of treatment can be sustained long-term. I am still fairly early in my treatment but am already seeing improvements so I have optimism for the first time in a while after being convinced for years I was just always going to struggle with back pain. Dr. Medina used a variety of treatments and services in combination with chiropractic adjustments to treat my shoulder pain, which started when I upped my push-up regimen a few years ago and then came back when I had to carry and care for my baby as she got heavier and bigger. However, when I arrived for my third visit, I was told I needed to pay for it. Wait, what? The doctor said I could go ahead and proceed, and that they would check things out with me later. Then, for my fourth visit, I was informed that my insurance didn't cover the third visit, so I didn't receive treatment and canceled the appointment on the spot. Here's the issue: when I arrived in extreme pain, I electronically signed a small print agreement that stated something entirely different from what I had been told. I didn't pay much attention to the fine print--my mistake, I admit--because I trusted the doctor's word. I was assured that the third and fourth visits would be included, but that wasn't the case. Not only did they charge me for the third visit, which I was originally told would be covered, but they also charged me for the partial fourth visit, which I canceled on the spot after being informed of the insurance issue.
