When I first bought my home, Bryan came out and inspected the roof for us and provided an estimate…read moreto replace the roof. I had other home improvement priorities, but wrote Bryan a letter thanking him for his time, and that I'd contact him when we were ready for a new roof. Three years later, I called Bryan up and he provided an updated estimate. I got additional bids from other companies, but Bryan had the lowest bid, the quickest availability, and was most willing to explain the process and details of the roof. The bid was $6,500 for a 27-square roof, stripped down to the plywood, new felt, architectural shingles, gutters cleaned, trash removed, and reasonable length on the nails. The materials were delivered the day before the job, and Bryan let me know to keep my driveway clear. On the day of the new roof, a four-person crew showed up at 6:30 am, as scheduled, and got to work. Every crew member stripped the old roof, and every crew member put the new roof on. They took one break for lunch, worked from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, and got the job done in one day. The crew was clean and sober, did not cuss, did not leave trash, played their music at a low enough volume that I couldn't hear it, and everyone worked hard. They were good about cleaning up the mess, including picking up all of the nails. They lost one plastic bottle off the roof, and my dog took it as a trophy, but that was the only mess, and no one was getting the bottle back from the dog, anyway. At the end of the day, I had a new roof, in the colour I wanted, a clean yard, and a good warranty. Bryan came out the next week with the invoice and warranty, and we settled up. I would do business with Bryan's Roofing again.

Dishonest, Totally Unreliable and a Huge Flake!…read more I received a bid from Uber Roofing for $24,000 for my two story home in Coquille which was twice the price of my other bid. When I told him he was so far out of my budget that it was a waste of time he replied that "there is always room for negotiation" and asked what my budget was. I told him $12,000 (half his price) and he told me that if I could pay him cash and use him again on other projects he would do it for me for $12,000. He was willing to drop his excessive price $12000 without any effort on my part. What if I had not pushed back? He then asked me for a 58% deposit for materials which I declined as it too was excessive and by this time I did not trust him. We agreed that he would send the Invoice for the actual materials and I would make payment to his supplier which ended up being $5173.50. I paid for materials and then he did not start as promised but had multiple delays. Sometimes he would respond to either myself or my lead and at other times he would not. He was never there on the date and time he agreed to at any faze of the project. He always had excuses about family issues, a death in the family, lost employees etc. When he did finally get there, they finished the job in just over a day. Not bad money $6826.50 for a day and halfs work. After I paid him, we discovered that he had left bundles of unused roofing (which I had paid for) on our roof. I contacted him several times to ask him to remove them as it was not possible for me (a 65-year-old male) to go up on a two-story home to get it off the roof. He again made multiple promises to be there to take care of it and never turned up even after promising me that he would be there personally to take care of it. I even added in the painting of our fascia's in hope that getting more money might motivate him to turn up but even with this and the threat of a complaint to the CCB he never showed up. Beware if you decide to hire this Scam Artist!
