I had a six week stay at this facility to help me rehab because I could not walk anymore to find…read moreout that they don't have equipment that's adequate from for my rehab not only that if the equipment is broken to facilities is a joke they are short personnel they leave patients on care for I fell on the ground and they called it a slip. They didn't even fill out incident report they all cover for each other, especially the social workers. Rachel is one of the biggest liars I have ever talked to and her partner in crime Toni together, they cover each other and protect each other. My wife and other family members came into this facility and fought with them over and over again from everything from medicine to food even getting a bed that was comfortable for me, which required multiple handles for me to move around they lied for weeks. They said they were gonna get one and they never did they make up stories. One of the worst places I've ever seen even worse than the planes of Bristol this place needs to be closed down and I really wish the state would look into them. A lot of the elderly people are not cared for that place smells terrible. There are some workers there that do try but they can only do so much because the management lies to them and they even tell the patient I'm posting some pictures to show you the quality of food and a picture of Rachel. Be careful do not get caught up with her cause she will lose. There's nothing you can do or say to them that they won't get the upper hand the state of Connecticut definitely needs to close this place down. Be very careful. If you think of going there don't be fooled. They're all very nice in the beginning, just wait till something happens and then you'll see what happens. I had an incident at 2 AM in the morning. I was caught in my bed and I couldn't move because I have no mobility in my legs. I called for them over two hours and defecated in the bed. I had a call a family member to come to the front door and get into the place to help me and then they take no accountability. Also, their medical care is the worst. It's an outside company and they don't even give a crap so all I can say is caution if you do go to this place as far as I'm concerned, they will never see me a friend of mine or anyone that I know they are terrible people, and they should not be in business.

After my first phone call with Kansas from Glendale administration in Naugatuck CT I was confident…read moreI was in good hands. She picked up the phone reliably. She was able to fax, give me and get me the right phone numbers. She could tell me the paperwork we needed. She was encouraging. She suggested that the best place for my mother in law was there in her facility at Glendale. Over the course of the next few weeks the Kanas I spoke to disappeared. She ignored all of our attempts to reach out and left my mother in law in tears with nowhere to go and with zero explanation. What kind of professional was this? And who would put someone like this in charge of admissions? I thought: I can do this. I can get this done. I can press for help and call fifty different numbers and spend hours in waiting rooms if it meant getting my mother in law into a place that could care for her. My mother in law had pneumonia. She had been admitted into Waterbury hospital at the very least five times in the last month by ambulance. How she did not catch Covid is beyond me. It was a miracle. Her breathing was shallow, she had COPD, she was malnourished, and could not properly manage her own medication. Short term rehab to recover from the COPD and pneumonia made sense, right? Someone to care for her and help nourish her back to health? Glendale explained that they needed three things from us: A negative Covid result from Waterbury Hospital, an Assent form, and a w-10. I spent weeks in and out of offices, getting test results, reaching out, taking her to the emergency room, taking her to her primary care physician filling out forms, and refilling out forms. It felt like a battle and we all did our best. But our best was not good enough. After all the hard work we put in, Kansas changed her tune. Why? Money? Insurance? The wrong adjectives on the assent form? She stopped taking our calls. Or she was going to "get back to us in ten minutes" but never did. I was outraged. Seething. Shocked at how poor my judgment had been. She was completely two faced and I missed it. She told me that she understood my frustration but that my mother in law just didn't qualify. She said that maybe if the doctor had said this or written this that insurance would have paid. Now you want to give me this information when I was sitting just days before with the doctor filling out the forms? Why couldn't you have told me then? I think I know why- it's because you aren't helpful. And it doesn't feel like you care. And you don't really understand my frustration. And most importantly, you don't belong in admissions if this is the way families get treated.
