A proper, old-fashioned charity shop with piles of second-hand stuff. It lacks the inventivity of Fair Trade or ethnic shops, and the specialism of Oxfam book shops, but it's exactly what springs to mind when you think 'charity shop'. Great for buying toys for small children who will soon grow bored of them, or for fancy dress clothes, or one-use clothes.
