Scooters has great coffee! The staff is friendly and they are very efficient - Even if the drive thru line is long in the mornings, it never takes me more than 5 minutes! So I was excited to try Scooter's Coffee because I see their locations being added around Sioux Falls I figured they must be doing well so I pull up in a gentleman helps me find a fruity smoothie with caffeine and I chose a mango Red Bull flavor I pulled up through the window paid left atav was super excited that you even gave me the leftover red bull in the can thought that was pretty great I then proceeded to try my smoothie and notice that it tasted like coffee I thought that was weird try it again and sure enough I can only assume that they use the same blenders for their smoothies as they do for their coffee drinks I wouldn't say that's a wise decision because coffee and fruit don't exactly go together I did not like my smoothie beans it tasted like coffee so I paid $7 for a smoothie that I barely touched I would recommend that the manager / owner get a blender that's used strictly for smoothies so that this does not occur again and disappoint somebody else but then again that's just a recommendation and opinion of a customer thanks for reading read more

I had a mocha, which tasted more like hot chocolate with a little coffee, vs coffee with chocolate. Good if you don't like much coffee flavor. Also ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. Meh. It's a convenient location for where I stay when I'm in town and the drinks are ok (if you like coffee drinks that don't taste like coffee, this is your spot). But if I go for coffee, I go to have a chat with a friend or read, and the main sitting room in the back is really loud. Can't really comment on the coffee, as I'm still learning what's the norm here in SF. I'm a coffee snob so being underwhelmed is my norm. I don't remember seeing anything unique on their menu either though. I'm mostly giving it 2 stars because the ambience isn't good. The only reason I'd go to this cafe is if it's nearby and I want to catch a drink with one friend. The seating situation is very crowded and there are few tables that can accommodate more than 1 laptop. The environment isn't horrible, but every time I'm there I'm puzzled to see so many people... what are they getting out of this place? Since my appreciation is so limited, I'm giving it a 2. Need to keep consistent hours they close at random times. Never had a problem with drinks. I think they have some of the best cold drinks for a coffee shop. Starbucks is slightly better for hot drinks. In side is nice and big. The customers inside are largest reason don't care for it. A lot of large tables taken up by one person. People try to be a hipster type and think this is their hidden neighborhood place that you need have a password to get in. The baristas are hot just like the coffee. Pet-peeve: when I'm standing in line and people ask for a candy bar latte and then end up getting a turtle. There are 16 different candy bar lattes so live a little and don't get the turtle. Fun fact- the cookies have enough sugar in them to power you for a minimum of 17 days which is good bang for your buck. Also, there are garbages. They exist, and are there for you to use. I love Scooter's coffee but this location has the slowest service I have ever received. I have come here on multiple occasions and had to leave because either they didn't help me when I was waiting at the register for many minutes or the drive through line takes much longer than any other coffee shop in town. read more
