Raul explorers is definitely one of the coolest things we've ever done!!…read more I was so impressed how organized the staff was. We had a brief tutorial, and there was even complementary (just on the rails) umbrellas because the sun was beating down. The distance between the person in front of us and behind us was perfect. The cars are self-propelled so you don't really have the pedal much. It was really nice and relaxing. I took some really great photos of the scenery. Two things I recommend; bug spray & a hat.

A very beautiful and peaceful experience through the area on the railroad tracks. The area was taken care of and I had no complaints. While waiting for the people in front of you to start, there are big umbrellas provided on the bikes for when you're waiting in the sun. (Very helpful, we used ours!) The bike has a motor so you aren't using your own muscle power, and one person is assigned the brakes and overall pedal power. I recommend assigning the best fit person to operate the bike as they'll power the bike the most. They offer 2 seaters and 4 seaters, I had a 4 seater. The front seat pedals don't move the bike much, but its still fun to ride! I would love to visit again and/or visit their other locations! 100% recommend!

The grounds are clean, and the people who work at the plant are friendly. They also had a vending machine that had different flavors for 50¢. I selected the Blackberry, and I regretted it. It tasted like medicine. They mentioned that it was back due to popular demand. I'm not sure how, but to each their own. On a side note, please check their website for tour days and times. What I want to know is how it hopes to capitalize in the beverage market? Pepsi and Coke are the powerhouses and I think this drink could do better. You know what was great about Sprite? The fact that people drank it on stomachaches, it actually did something. Now, this drink adds in ginger? you know what ginger does? Exactly! So why not put cane sugar in this thing, along with ginger and naturalize it? High fructose is one of the worst ingredients anyone could put in a beverage, although, extremely cheap wink wink. So the next time, you should want to make a high quality drink, change to cane sugar, put more ginger in it, keep the carbonation and voila! See? I do not even need to be hired as an idea creator to make up ideas, I am giving it here, to help the common wealth, the uncommonly wealthy, the nation, and the world!

The Mary Todd Lincoln House is a beautifully preserved window into the early life of a complex First Lady and the turbulent times she lived through. We opted for the guided tour, and it was absolutely the right choice. Phillip was our guide, and he didn't just recite facts. He gave perspective. Thoughtful, objective, and deeply knowledgeable, he handled the complicated dynamics of a slave-owning border state with grace and clarity. He was also incredibly kind in his portrayal of Mary Todd Lincoln, helping us see her not as a caricature, but as a layered, resilient, and deeply human figure. Each room is meticulously curated. Not every item was original to the Todd or Lincoln families, but everything was period appropriate and helped tell the story. The artifacts weren't just on display. They became part of the narrative, which made it all the more engaging. What surprised me most was how much the visit made me reflect on grief ... her profound losses, her perseverance, and the emotional weight she carried as First Lady during the Civil War. It gave me a new respect for her. And even better? My wife, who is not a big history buff, was the one who suggested we go, and she loved it. That says a lot. The whole tour ran a little over an hour and was the perfect pace. Despite the unseasonably hot June day, the air conditioning kept us comfortable, and the staff were welcoming from start to finish. Bonus points for the gift shop, it's small, but full of genuinely cool and thoughtful items. Well worth the money. Perfect for history buffs, curious minds, and even the skeptics. Educational, immersive, and honest. This isn't just a house. It is a home full of stories. And thanks to Phillip, we walked out with a deeper understanding of the people and times that shaped a presidency and a nation.

For $15 each we could wander through the rooms as long as we didn't touch anything or sit on anything. No guided tour in the morning but there was someone downstairs who cheerily answered our questions. There's a small gift shop. Small but very pretty garden. And everything is nicely air conditioned. Parking lot is small and tight, with overflow parking available next door.

Jett Tours - Original itinerary I paid for and the changed itinerary they gave us after arriving in Seattle.

The picture provided is the original itinerary I paid for and the second itinerary is what was given to us once we arrived in Seattle. The reason I signed up for the trip was because I was going to go to the space needle and pike place market in Seattle, Mt. Rainier National Park, Columbia River Gorge waterfall tour, stop in Cresent City for seafood, visit the Redwood forest, do a wine country tour in Santa Rosa, and spend the day in San Francisco. As shown in the original itinerary. The itinerary we got was not what we paid for. We left the airport and went to the space needle for a 10 minute photo take outside the space needle. We didn't even see Pike Place Market. We went to Denny's for lunch. We left Seattle and drove 35 miles east to Fall City to Snoqualmie Falls. Stopped for approximately 30 minutes. Then drove to Chehalis which took 2 hours and was checked in by 4:00. Absolutely nothing to do or see around there and very limited on places to eat. Day 2 we headed out to Mt. Rainier leaving at 9 am we got there around 11:00. Went to visitors center for lunch. No sit down dining. All grab and go and with outrageous prices for food like $7.00 for an egg salad sandwich so spent $11 on junk food for lunch. Drove back to the hotel which was a 2 hour trip. Back at the hotel by 4 pm. Ate dinner at the only restaurant that was nearby. Day 3 drove from Chehalis to Crater Lake a 6 1/2 hour drive stopping at DQ for lunch on the way. Spent maybe 30-45 minutes there then drove from Crater Lake to Grants Pass for another 2 hours. Ate dinner at a nearby Applebee's. Day 4 we've started our drive from Grants Pass to Santa Rosa a 7 hour trip. Stopped twice in the Redwood forest for 20 minutes each stop. Arrived at the most outer edge of Santa Rosa around 6pm with only McDonald's and Panera Bread to eat at and absolutely nothing else around to see or do. Day 5 we left the hotel at 9 am to drive 1 and 1/2 hours to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge each way and then return to the hotel only to get there to not be able to park the bus due to rally going on. So we were able to spend 2 hours at Fisherman's Wharf which lunch took up an hour of that. Back on the bus at 2 pm and and later back at the hotel in Santa Rosa at 4 pm. Then we got to get up at 2am to make the hour and half ride BACK to the San Francisco airport to fly out at 6 am.

I love cultural history and visiting historic homes, so when I heard about White Hall's scandals and ghost tour I knew that this would be the perfect outing for us. This tour is a great blend of the scandalous history of the Clay family and supernatural events that have been experienced in the house. Our guide, Jeffrey did a wonderful job of dramatically recounting the encounters that he and other employees have had at White Hall. This tour is offered two weekends in July every year. I've been on the regular tour of White Hall, and as someone who has visited most of the other historic homes in this area I can say with confidence that White Hall is the house to see! The house is beautiful, large (they actually take you up to the third floor and will take you into the cellar if you ask), and the family history is interesting. Cassius Clay was a fascinating man. From his emancipationist views, the cannon he kept, his second marriage at 84 to a 15 year old, and the unanswered question of whether or not he fathered the orphan he brought home from Russia after he was an ambassador there, you will not be holding back yawns listening to his life story.
