Thankfully they did. I opted just for a dry trim. I foolishly didn't enquire about the price before I let her start on my hair but figured it wouldn't be too much. I have the student hairdresser do my hair, she was nice enough but not over chatty but that was fine with me I just want my hair cut and i'm not too bothered about small talk although I guess others like that. Anyway I was so shocked when I went to pay that she only wanted to charge £4 what a bargain. I was shocked I gave her £5 as that was such a reasonable price. Excellent value

As well as the hairdressers there is a beauty therapist upstairs that offers all the usual stuff like waxing, facials etc. I've never been up there but my girlfriend says they are good. When i got there, they said that they had overbooked, and would not do my hair, even though there was a hairdresser there doing nothing, as they said they had booked me in with a different hairdresser. They didn't reimburse my taxi fare, and they wouldn't book me in for another appointment for the same price they quoted me. What they did do, was try to make me pay an extra 25 pound to the junior hairdresser who was standing around. I feel that this wasn't an isolated incident, and that they tell you it will be cheap, and when you go there, they get you to pay more money than you were told originally. No stars.

His customers are very diverse with long haired goths sitting next to pensioners having blue rinses. A couple of years ago I made an appointment for cut and colour having had my hair done there before when staff were seemingly a bit more customer service oriented. I ended up walking out of that appointment due to the technician telling me she just wouldn't have the time... Here we are again I thought I would give them another chance since it would be nice not to have to cart myself to Leeds every time I want to go to the salon. Unfortunately the staff on the phone seem to think customer questions are a nuisance. I understand fully well I need a skin test done for colour and I offered to come over this morning for that to be done. I'm asking for all over colour which correct me if I'm wrong is fairly straight forward none rocket science procedure and a hair cut. I really don't know how they have stayed in business so long since they have some pretty bad customer service and seemingly no time to do what their business advertises they do.
