Armed with my 'I want it to look like this photo' I arrived at my appointment a little apprehensive... It didn't take long for me to relax though with my freshly made coffee, L.A. literature and the usual hair salon chit-chat. I was absolutely thrilled with the results! My hair looked exactly like the woman's in the picture! I left feeling like a new woman (and a little lighter).

The lady who answered the phone was warm and very accommodating. She would fit me in immediately. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the salon. I was acknowledged immediately. Bree saw me within 5 minutes - great in a busy salon. She was warm and friendly. Cut my hair beautifully. So pleased that I booked my next appointment. They now have a new client because of their great service.

The staff member & I no longer work together, but I've now been making the drive from North Brisbane to Wellington Point for two years. I get friendly, consistent cuts and colours for half what I would've been paying in the city and and I don't leave disappointed. There are 3 stylists for women's hair (I see Sarah, but Kandi and Jess are always on hand to help) and Annette (the owner) is a barber, who also takes the children's cuts. I only ever go in on a Saturday and they seem to be well equipped to handle walk-ins for cuts easily. The fit-out is basic, if not a bit old-school. So, if you're looking for a glamour salon, you won't find it here. But, they offer all the services you would expect anywhere else a bit more glamourous. I get my blonde ambition perfectly touched up with a bit of trim to the layers every six weeks and it costs me about $140 for 3 hours of time. Bargain! Well worth the drive!

Andrew is the Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Doctor with the clinic and is the person I come to see here. I have been seeing Andrew for about 2 years and he is wonderful. He has helped me so much with headaches, migraines and digestion issues. He does not 'hard sell' but will recommend a program for you with acupuncture, massage and herb treatments. It has only been a week since I have seen him but have had no headaches and my digestion is much improved. Andrew is also a fertility specialist helping people if are having trouble conceiving. He has told me that he has a really high success rate. The prices are a little higher than what I have paid for in the past but I have no issue with that if the person treating me is good and can cure - or at least help me - with issues. I absolutely highly recommend Andrew and his services. His services are in high demand and an appointment is necessary. It looses one star as I do not think the receptionists are on their game. I have been there on occasions where they have forgotten to charge me for things or charged me incorrectly and have had to ring me to pay over the phone.

Beard trims are also cheap and quick here. They don't do cutthroat shaves or things like that, but it's not really necessary. Plus, they won't try to screw you over with products you won't use, but if you need them, they do have them available. Cons: Parking sucks because it's a busy area, but there's plenty of public transport nearby and a carpark a block away if you're set on driving in. Overall: I've been getting my hair cut here for a couple of years now and everyone seems happy to come back.
