We selected a nice marzipan-filled milk chocolate log kind of thing & purchased a decorative box to bring back for family The marzipan log was okay - the almond flavor was very subtle & I am thinking the dark chocolate would have been a better pairing.....and they had that on offer so I'll put it to the test next time The decorative box never made it to the family - I just couldn't resist the cute houses, doggies and foiled chocolates in both dark and milk varieties. Each item is also carefully arranged helping the consumer make an informed decision. I'm not a native German speaker so I relied on pictures, percentages, and origin. I found two excellent gifts - a Dolfin variety pack and a 100% single origin bar from Ecuador. I was pleased with my purchases and hope the recipients are also.

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the aroma of fresh chocolate and displays of their famous slabs, pralines, and seasonal creations. Everything looks (and tastes) amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering samples and explaining the different flavors, which makes the experience fun and welcoming. CHF9.90 for 100g from the slabs isn't that bad. They are quite the size of your palm and that is quite big enough to enjoy. You can get a smaller size too if you want to try them all. It's a great spot for picking up gifts to bring home, but honestly, you'll probably want to treat yourself too. A sweet highlight of my Zürich trip.

The hand made quality of the chocolates is easy to taste, even in the mass produced bars and truffles. The employees here are nice and willing to give samples. I was shocked to see a Sugar free hazelnut bar! It had real Hazelnuts and it was delicious! It didn't have any chemically aftertaste either! High quality!
