The falafel was SO GOOD and I'm a total falafel snob. It was light, fluffy, and not too crispy. The flavor was amazing and authentic. The salad with the pickled cabbage was delicious and I mixed in some of the yogurt dressing into my salad and it tasted like I was eating a doner but without the extra carbs! The rest of the party has the lamb doner as wraps and the lamb skewers with bulgar wheat. Everyone was impressed. The portions were HUGE and the flavors all melded together perfectly. My mom is VERY picky when it comes to lamb and she won't touch it if she thinks it smells and she was very happy with her wrap. I would highly recommend this place for some really delicious food. Also, they have an upstairs seating area which is great because there is never enough seating around these parts of town. My belly is happy :)

Drop what you are doing and go here now!!!! Ok, well for most of you that's impossible considering…read moreit is all the way in Germany. This place has one of the best things I have ever eaten. That is the Doner Kebab! Words cannot describe its amazing God given awesomeness. It has the most perfect bun, and has much of the normal fix-ins in a normal Kebab but their Turkish sauce and red cabbage take it the extra mile! I seriously ate one everyday and sometimes twice a day for over a week. Oh and here in America the Kebab/Gyro meat is never really lamb, but a lamb and beef mix, not here in Kandern! It was so beautiful, this is the food-gasm high I am in search for, it has never been that good! When you bite into it you get a little resistance from the bun, than breakthrough to warm lamb meat and juciness followed by cold crisp tomatos than you get pimp slapped with their red cabbage and Turkish yogurt sacue......I need a moment! The only reason I know they have other stuff is because my friends ordered their pizza. The lamb pizza is insane. It has the softest dough/crust and great Turkish tomato sauce with lamb shavings, some thicker for meatiness and texture while others were thin so they can crisp up. These guys were great, they even brought us free drinks and sat with us while we watched soccer. When I come back to Germany I will go straight here for some Doner Kebap! By the way, I have had many other state side wannabes and it cannot even come close. I pray God will grant them passage to Seattle to bring joyous blessings to our taste buds and our souls! Thank you, you amazing Turkish cooks you!

Great Greek restaurant in Breisach…read more They offer an amazing price for their food. They mainly serve meat, I tried the skewers and beef filet mix. The plate is huge, the meat quality is not the best. Fries are nothing special as well. The complimentary salad is so-so, nothing amazing. They add too much sauce on it, and it the end it almost a soup. They can improve it.. Service is nice and fast. The good point about this restaurant remain the price. 50 euros for three people with drink and no space for desert :) It is better to call before going to be sure you can get a table on saturday nights.

There is something about Kebab/Kebap in German, best kebab I have had for a while…read more My husband and I were just visting Freiburg for a tech conf. We wanted to try some cheap eat, we saw this place seemed pretty popular and decided to eat it here. Freiburg is just a small town, there are not so many international tourists, so there are not many reviews online for the local restaurants. We just did a long hike and really needed some carbs. Even though the owner did not speak English, but we were able to communicate through body language and successfully ordered a plate here. The portion was good. I really like the pita here, soft and chewy. A lot of university students eat here, so this should tell yow how big the portion is. I would recommend this place or any Kebab/Kebap place in Freiburg if you are an international tourists.
