The food, coffee service was fabulous. Busy from opening and a great ambience and attitude exuding from every level of this business. The location alone is 5*. Here's hoping the world can return to normal soon and we can return.

Our dim-witted server didn't know a word of English which is completely fine. But didn't attempt to give any suggestions or explain the bullshit menu. Why the 1 star? After the lights flickered a bit we waited another 15 minutes watching other patrons get served she says some shit in German then thankfully another guest a delightful woman told us that the electrical was off in the kitchen and food wasn't available... At all. After which I saw this moron bring out meat and cheese plates to not one not two but THREE different tables. 3 euros for a cup of tea and beyond shit service? Yea right. In short if you're going to have some coffee and some food walk right down the block to coffee mamas for better prices and service. Maybe it was because we didn't speak the language maybe it was because we were American or maybe it was my skin color either way I'll never be back to this joke of a cafe. Cheers.

The staff was very kind & patient with our limited German vocabulary. We got a cinnamon roll and a sweet cheese pastry to take back to our Airbnb to have with tea that our host provided, but it would be a lovely place to sit down with a pastry and hot drink. We returned on the May 1st Labor Day holiday (bakeries are thankfully open regular hours on national holidays) and got a cherry chocolate cake (favorite dessert I had in Germany!) and poppyseed streusel as takeaway.

The iced mokka is so good, I stir the whipped cream in and steal some of the mint leaves from my daughters drink and smash them in for a minty freshness. Now for the yummy part - we had toast with berry marmalade and cream cheese, crab salad, and an artichoke and tuna. My youngest had a chocolate and plain crossaint. My personnel favorite was the crab salad. A must try if you go to munich!
