Came here after seeing excellent reviews on Yelp…read more Not impressed. Waited about 15 mins to get seated even though multiple tables were empty. The staff is limited and looks exhausted. Quite tight seating. Restrooms are not accessible by people with limited mobility. No baby changing stations. The food is okay. The schnitzel was fine and so was lamb. Okay to eat but not memorable. Caprese salad was tasty. In conclusion, if you are passing by and hungry, feel free to stop by. If you are looking for a memorable lunch/dinner experience, plan to visit a different establishment.

The interior is cozy and has a pub-like feel to it, without being too loud or smoky (in the non-smoking area). I will add that the bread has room for improvement, just in case the owner reads this (it falls apart too easily), but nevertheless we have certainly found our new favorite restaurant in the 16th district.

However, my personal favorite restaurant for authentic Austrian cuisine is Schitzelwirt! They have an exceptional Biergarten in the front of the restaurant or inside dining if you want a more romantic setting. I recommend enjoying their traditional Wiener Schnitzel with Herb Potatoes. Aperol Spritz & local Sturm Wine pairs nicely with this meal. The service was excellent! They are able to speak English but restaurants are the best place to try using your Deutsch and the staff will be very pleased and create laughs around the table. Also, this restaurant isn't very close to an U-Bahn station so I recommend using a taxi or Uber to arrive and continue your night.

The place is near…read moreMuseumQuartier (about a 10 min walk from there) in a neat neighbourhood filled with small shops, restaurants, and cafes. The restaurant is big with lots of seating available and prices are reasonable as well. We even saw a photo of Ed Shireen on the wall during our time there indicating that he had eaten at the restaurant before! Menus are in English and German and the staff are able to communicate in English fluently. They also have some outdoor seating as well. We both ordered the Wiener Schnitzel. Sides are separate so I ordered a salad while my partner ordered a side of fries. The salad was tart and fresh. The schnitzel portion was huge! We got 2 big pieces of schnitzel each on the plate. I tried to finish my plate as best as I could but it was difficult. The coating on the schnitzel was crispy and just the perfect thickness where the pork meat was pounded to the perfect thickness. Overall, a great place to grab some schnitzel in Vienna!

Supposedly the nicest beer-garden in Vienna and from one side it certainly could be but for the…read morefact that the other side looks onto a building site. Not the usual style beer-garden that I am used to, all the tables neatly lined up and chairs instead of banks but I guess thats Vienna for you. Can't comment on the food because we just stopped in for a beer but the portions I saw were large and looked decent. The beer was good and cold but took just a little too long to come for my liking. Extra points to the server who carried a full tray in each hand. But those points get taken away because he then had to put both trays down on the table to serve... Decently priced but more an outside restaurant feel than a true beer-garden. And please do something about the building site view. My tip is some larger plants or trees to block it off a bit.

There is also a lot of indoor seating for when it's cold out, but I recommend dinner outside on a summer night.
