Dr. King allowed time to listen and helped me understand what was causing the extreme pain and swelling which was totally different from my "internet" self diagnosis. I was lucky that her front desk staff got me in so quickly and followed up with my records when needed. I like a small efficient office where they remember you and make you feel welcome. I won't have to worry about my future feet problems as Dr. King's patient, she'll take care of me, and you too.

They gave me some advice about what to do. I tried what they said and it only increased the pain. Then, while traveling through Tucson AZ, I visited another podiatrist. I had been unable to walk many days. The Tucson doctor saw what they were suggesting I put in my shoes and shook his head and threw the stuff right in the trash. What Rio Grande Foot and Ankle had given me had actually created more pain and injury to my foot. The Tucson doctor told me I had Morton's Neuroma. The Rio Grande doctor never suggested this issue or what I could do to solve the problem. I am going to need surgery and might not have needed surgery if I hadnt been given such bad advice here that caused more injury and pain. Awful, unprofessional and inexperienced.

I want to balance out the other review with a different perspective…read more While it's true that Dr. Bair's practice is VERY busy and he doesn't have a lot of time to chat, I found that the staff and Dr. Bair were polite, pleasant to interact with, and very professional given how constantly busy the practice is. He's a surgeon, and surgeons, as a rule, are much better at interacting with unconscious people than conscious ones. The unfortunate reality of medical care nowadays is that in a lot of ways you're on your own, which sucks, but it's the way it is. You must be in charge of your own care and do your own homework. Yes, I would love to have a 20 minute discussion of the nuances of my knee arthroscopy with Dr. Bair, but the fact that I can't isn't really his fault. I would recommend Dr. Bair and St. Vincent's, especially if you live in Taos and Holy Sh*t is your only other option.

The staff and Dr Garcia where all so nice. They made the entire process so easy and painless. I even returned a week after my initial casting with some concern about the fit of the cast, and without question or an appointment, they removed the first cast (which Im sure was done properly) and gave me a brand new one with extra padding so I'd be more comfortable. I have had MANY breaks and casts and its not always such a quick and pleasant process. I can not recommend this team enough. The tech that did both of my casts was named Juan and he is kind, gentle and easy to talk to. I would recommend Dr Garcia and his amazing staff any day. Thanks everyone! I started out with the owner John Connerly, having been looking for another chiropractor since my go-to left town and for having developed a very painful condition in my lower back. John introduced me to a form of chiropractic technique that I was unfamiliar with. It was just what the doctor ordered (pun intended)! I started going regularly as my pain was becoming less regular. Then I "graduated" to Dr. Larry Widmer, whose gentle hands, effective technique, and sense of humor has now become my staple on an almost weekly basis. There is something quite wonderful when your trust levels change from "we'll see" to "thank you!" The staff, overseen by John Connerly's wife, Margaret, are absolutely fantastic...friendly, always smiling, and ready to help at any given moment. One never feels nervous nor intrusive at any time. The cost, too, is the most reasonable I have found in all of Santa Fe. At this point, I don't see any reason for changing doctors ever again.
