I have been a patient of Dr. Bair's for several years. He has always been trustworthy and I value…read morehis opinion. In the future I will need a knee replacement. He isn't "knife happy" to recommend me to another Dr. who performs replacements, due to my age. He has the BEST bedside manner and loves to kid around with some of his patients. He did a great job on my scope surgery 8 months ago. I've had little to no pain in that knee, with the help of injections after the surgery. I would recommend (and have done so) Dr. Bair to any of my friends and others who are in need of an Orthopedic Dr.

I want to balance out the other review with a different perspective…read more While it's true that Dr. Bair's practice is VERY busy and he doesn't have a lot of time to chat, I found that the staff and Dr. Bair were polite, pleasant to interact with, and very professional given how constantly busy the practice is. He's a surgeon, and surgeons, as a rule, are much better at interacting with unconscious people than conscious ones. The unfortunate reality of medical care nowadays is that in a lot of ways you're on your own, which sucks, but it's the way it is. You must be in charge of your own care and do your own homework. Yes, I would love to have a 20 minute discussion of the nuances of my knee arthroscopy with Dr. Bair, but the fact that I can't isn't really his fault. I would recommend Dr. Bair and St. Vincent's, especially if you live in Taos and Holy Sh*t is your only other option.

I can't say enough about Dr. Sanchez. After undergoing three spinal fusion surgeries, a cubital…read moretunnel release, and living with constant pain, I had reached my breaking point. From the very beginning, he truly listened--showing both compassion and genuine concern for what I was going through. What stood out most was his ability to look beyond just my surgical history. While helping me manage my post-operative spine issues, he recognized signs of something more systemic and guided me to seek further evaluation. Because of his insight, I was able to see a rheumatologist and ultimately receive a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks to Dr. Sanchez, I not only gained a clearer understanding of my condition, but I also began addressing the root of my ongoing symptoms. His thoroughness, empathy, and dedication made a difficult journey much more manageable, and I'm incredibly grateful for his care.

Recently, Sciatica attacked me and I didn't know whether I needed a Physical Therapist or a…read moreChiropractor, or an Orthopedic Doctor. The pain was so intense that I could not wait the six weeks to see the doctor thru ER, so I called Dr. Bobby Sanchez because I knew that he would help much sooner than the conventional Drs. could. Previously I had seen him for a torn meniscus, and his help was focused with amazing results. His techniques for me in both situations were not the more common "snaping a joint" but focused on muscle manipulation or "ART" (active release techniques. For the current problem, he used acupuncture and "ART" which ultimately gave me relief. Most importantly, when I left his office I was much looser and more comfortable. Over the next few days the pain dissipated noticeably. After the third visit, I felt like I had control of the situation, but have booked a fourth visit because my body had compensated for the pain in my hip and leg and I wanted to be sure that I was correctly aligned. Dr. Bobby Sanchez has a definite feel for his profession. His charming demeanor, and handsome appearance, gave me instant confidence in being treated by him. His gentle but firm and correcting touch may not be for everyone, but he certainly helped me several times with problems that I now understand needed more than a quick snap. In addition to his excellent service, he is LGBTQ friendly. Currently, he is located inside a really cool Gym and parking is easy.

Waited 20+ minutes for a 20-minute appointment in an empty office. Reception staff were watching…read moreyoutube videos and throwing bags of chips at each other in plain view/earshot of the waiting room. Three months later was erroneously billed for an outpatient surgery and received no follow-up emails to my requests for clarification and correction for months. Was finally contacted in in March after leaving a google review and was promised that the charges would be re-evaluated and that they would call me once they reviewed them. I was told to ignore the bill until that time. I have received no follow-up since but continued to be sent the same unsubstantiated bills for the past two months. Now their billing team has shifted to be third party making it even more difficult to contact someone in the office familiar with my file. Do not recommend.

By Friday it was looking infected, so I called the office and asked to come in. I was told that Dr. Adicho was in Las Vegas. By the following Wednesday it was looking REALLY bad so I called the office again and asked to see the doctor. AGAIN I was told he was in Las Vegas... I said the situation was really bad so could I see someone else. I was told they did not "commingle" their patients. In other words, too bad, you're on your own. I ended up in the emergency room at Christus and was put on oral antibiotics and a better, newer antibiotic cream. I was told that the formula for Neosporin which Dr. Adicho suggested hadn't been changed in decades and was no longer effective. I ended up going to another podiatrist because it took a very long time for all of the damage done to heal. Dr. Adicho is incompetent and the office staff is unprofessional and uncaring. I wouldn't recommend these people to ANYONE!

When you are in pain and need a doctor that specializes in the foot, go see Dr. King. I went in…read morewith so much pain that I was ready to cut it off, but Dr. King reassured me that we could manage the condition until it needed further treatment, including surgery if indicated. Her direct, no nonsense approach and manner was just what I need in a professional. Dr. King allowed time to listen and helped me understand what was causing the extreme pain and swelling which was totally different from my "internet" self diagnosis. I was lucky that her front desk staff got me in so quickly and followed up with my records when needed. I like a small efficient office where they remember you and make you feel welcome. I won't have to worry about my future feet problems as Dr. King's patient, she'll take care of me, and you too.

In attending one of the visits myself, Dr. King insisted she had no idea what was wrong and said there are multitude of things that could be happening. None of which apparently warranted a thorough check by her. FINALLY, my sister went to another podiatrist for a second opinion and following a simple MRI, low and behold, she had a torn tendon that Dr. King missed entirely, because she never bothered to investigate. The injections, she insisted on, made the torn tendon worse, resulting in bruising and blackening of the area. Stay away from Glenda King!
