Both Schroeter brothers, Dr. David, and Dr. Steven, are excellent. Unfortunately for you, they're not accepting new patients. So why am I leaving a review? Because it's "Thank You Thursday" on YELP and I had some major work done today by Dr. Dave, who is my regular dentist and has been taking good care of me for more than a decade, at beyond reasonable prices as I don't have insurance or much money for the type of work I need. His awesome assistant, Janet was on a well-deserved vacation, so I had the pleasure of Dr. Steve's wonderful assistant, Maria, who without knowing it helped to ease the pain of a rather complicated procedure by distracting my nerves, like stepping on my toe but without the pain Thanks, Tracy for always getting back to me promptly, managing to schedule me in, and putting up with my PITA whining at checkout I'm so fortunate to have gotten my place there and Dr. David keeping me as a patient. I'm grateful, even more so since learning on my last visit that besides being a great dentist and a great guy, Dr. Dave and I share a similar interest, which I enjoyed speaking with him about, appreciated the extra time he spent with me chatting as it made my day. It's nice to go to a dentist without fear and leaving with a smile Thanks, everyone there, for being so good to me! I appreciate you all and your pleasant & professional practice. Worst dental care I've had. Had a filling fall out 3 times in the same tooth. Had another filling done and he molded both teeth together so I can't floss between the teeth and a new cavity has formed. Went to new dentist and he was shocked that Schroeder never thought to put a cap on the filling that kept falling out and also thought it would be a good idea to mold two teeth together so food couldn't escape. Every little detail...from my initial call to schedule my appointment through scheduling for a follow-up exam...was flawless! I went to them for a broken tooth. I was a new in townn and a new patient, They got me in quickly (it was not an emergency). I was examined by David (Steven's brother). He was terrific. He examined my tooth and recommended a filling. I was expecting a cap. He filled/rebuilt the tooth right then. 15 minutes later I walked out with a repaired tooth. I was thrilled. I will be going back for cleaning in February. Also, the staff is great. Reception was friendly and attentive. They have 3 hygienists, and I will report on my experience with them when I get my teeth cleaned. They take a lot of different insurance. Highly recommended! read more

I have been treated by the brothers and their staff since 2013. I was new to Sarasota, and a friend recommended them. First trip was for a broken tooth. They fit me in later the same day. Fixed by a root canal and a crown. Several visits since. I am always pleased by their professional and courteous service, and they have a sense of humor. I recommend them highly. read more

We have been going to Dr. Steve for almost 15 years. He's just absolutely the best. He has saved me money by doing things (or not doing things) that other dentists would be happy to charge for. When we didn't have dental insurance and I had all 4 kids going in for cleanings, he gave me a break on price. I've recommended him to my co-workers and they are so happy with the professional and fair service. Both brothers have great chairside manner, they are happy to explain everything and spend as much time with you as needed. No need to seek out a pediatric dentist for your kids --these guys are as gentle and friendly as they come and your little ones will love them. The hygienists also do a great job and Traci at reception is wonderful as well. read more
