I decided to try racquet corner out after reading that I could borrow rackets to try them out before buying. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, asking me questions to figure out which racket would best suit me. I tried two rackets and loved one. Throughout the entire process, I never felt pressured or rushed to buy anything either-they always said they could just re-string my current one if I found I liked my current one the best, which I really appreciated. A few weeks later, I walked out with a great new racket that I am very happy with!

Some apparel, tennis accessories/bags and only one wall of racquets. There was a machine for stringing racquets there. At first, not very impressed. Then the owner came out to talk to us and everything changed. He is an experienced tennis player, and really knows his stuff. He has strung racquets for the US OPEN and AUS OPEN, as well as some other tournys. He was patient and willing to fit us all with racquets of our liking based on what we told him about past experiences and what we wanted. One unique thing about this shop is that he allows you to Demo a racquet. This means you take it home for an agreed period of time and are able to try out the racquet(s) you are interested in. That's a pretty sweet deal. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good customer satisfaction and would like to deal with someone who is going to hook you up with the right equipment. Dont get fooled into a Walmart racquet or Dicks or Sports Authority. Come here and try it yourself!

I thought, "Great, now I need to get a new cart." Then I noticed the computer screen on my cart and it had a message to the effect that I was in a "restricted area" and I had to back up. It wouldn't back up so I had to push it. Once I had pushed the cart back, I noticed the sign about no carts in the parking lot. I asked an employee why this was. "Too many people." What does that have to do with anything? We started playing and I learned that our Big Brother golf carts were programed to prevent the carts from going near the greens. But you just have to guess about exactly where. Occasionally, the computer screen warned you. The computer screen also kept track of your time of play and if you were "behind" some hypothetical pace of play. Who decides what is the correct amount of time? Later, Barney Fife tells is that we are behind by 18 minutes and we have to pick it up at the turn. The thing of it was the group behind never had to wait and they weren't pressing us. I come out for a relaxing round of golf with my friends and somehow I'm on the hypothetical clock, Big Brother is watching my cart and Barney Fife is ready to indict me for a non-existent crime. Not good. The course itself is average at best. The thing of it is that Mr. Market will soon be putting this real estate to its highest and best use as a mixed use residential and commercial subdivision. Those Big Brother golf carts are really pernicious. Nearly wrecked my round, but I was able to rise above the machines.

There's enough room to walk around the park for exercise, if people desire. There are benches and several trees. If your dog likes water, there is a gate to the lake next to the park which is fenced in with the fence running down to the lake. This allows your dog to go for a swim. It's a really nice park in the middle of Papillon. There is a small amount of parking (4-5 cars) and during my time there, 4 other dogs were in the park.

It's a big dog park, with lots of space to run, and a fence separates the large dog area from the small dog area. Didn't see a water station, but maybe I overlooked it. WCRA is listed as a Lakeside green space with a boat ramp & fishing pier, plus hiking, biking & equestrian trails. I have seen the boat ramp, and seems to be ample parking. There are some trails, but calling them "hiking trails" is a stretch. Walking paths would be more appropriate. The big no swimming sign is strange to me. I'm not from Nebraska, so I'm finding it hard to believe there are so many no swimming areas. Maybe someone can explain this to me. Overall, good to walk around, fish, and I guess boat. Very pretty compared to most of Nebraska, which seems to be deforested.
