They always have fun music playing and it looks like a lot of fun. One of our favorite family activities is to go down to the small slides and they go down to the water. The reason I'm more of a 4 vs. a 5 is because paths aren't super clearly marked and it will change from paved, to wood chips, to gravel. There have been so many changes in recent years due to the new addition to Westgate Elementary School next door. The parking lot coming in off Hascall is completely different. The park itself had some construction in recent years. The scary and probably dangerous tunnel has been leveled and replaced as has the sidewalks, stairs, and pathways around it. There's all new playground furniture. The dense tree line separating the park from the mortuary next door is gone. There is still a lot of open land to walk my dogs. I always feel pretty safe here, especially now, though there are always some randos sitting alone in their cars but I suspect that's all parks.
