this company sold us a very expensive cabinet and when it arrived with its packing falling off and clear damage underneath we refused delivery. they say all the right words of apology and that your full refund will arrive in 3-5 days but 11 days later they will say they just got to it and you should be waiting another 3-5 days. no explanation why despite their email confirmation of when we would see our funds returned. so plan on this company hanging onto to your money for quite likely over 2 and half weeks more at least. NEVER ever shop here unless you want horrible shipping, damaged goods, terrible customer service, and you don't mind not seeing your money back for a long time. Buyer Beware! No Backsies. Just purchased a height-adjustable stool. The seat cut off the circulation in my legs and therefore was unusable. When this was communicated and I asked to return it, they declined. The "customer service" is an utter farce. They couldn't accept the product back because "it was assembled." The 30-second assembly required inserting a pole into the base and the seat. Okay, sure. It's one thing to sell inferior products. I ordered 4 sets of headphones on 09/03/2022. They promptly processed my payment. Then I waited. And waited. I inquired on 09/14/2022 and was told my new ship date was 09/22/22. That date came and went. I inquired again on 09/29/22 only to get an email this am saying that my 1 (single????) headphone would ship on 10/28/22. I understand that there are covid related delays. I want to know why no one thought to send an email that the order would not be fulfilled for 60 days. If you do not have a product and have no idea when you are getting it back in why is it available on their website? Why did I have to chase after customer service to find this out? It has now been nearly TWO MONTHS since I ordered a height-adjustable stool When I received the first notice of backorder, I thought, okay, a lot of people are working from home so it's not surprising to have a backorder.  I decided to be patient. Now I have received two more notices of backorder.  Each time the "backorder clears" date arrives, they push it back further.  And I wait. Not only do I wait, but they have offered extremely poor customer service.  They have not apologized for this continued delay.  They have offered no compensation for this continued delay, such as a waiver of the delivery fee, a discount on the item, etc. Product ordered : January 17 Notified on January 19: "is on backorder until 3/2/2021.  Your order should ship 1 to 2 business days after the backorder clears" Notified on February 23 : "is on backorder until 3/10/2021.  Your order should ship 1 to 2 business days after the backorder clears. We tried several times to cancel the order and were told that there is a cancellation fee and we would not receive a full refund. I opted to use School Outfitters because it stated my product would ship within 24 hours, so I assumed I would receive the product fairly quickly, right. WRONG! I received an email stating I would not receive my product until this Friday. (I ordered the product the previous Friday) I reached out to customer service and spoke with Spencer. He stated the estimated date for delivery was overstated (not his exact words) and that I should expect my delivery around Tuesday, he even sent me the tracking number for UPS. Imagine my dismay when UPS states my product will not be delivered until Thursday (which is a day later then the company I typically use stated it could deliver the product I ordered). First and last time using School Outfitters. Lesson learned and the use of deceptive marketing tactics....Ships within 24 hours does not mean you will receive it quickly. I should have read the review above and not done business with this company. We received a desk that didn't do what the description said it does, which is raise to 42". We received an okay to ship it back to the vendor, I was going to be right near the vendor that week and asked to drop it off, to avoid any damages by UPS or any other carrier, It arrived back at the vendor with damage, and now they won't give me credit for returning the item. They say it is unsellable. No credit after spending 56.00 to ship it back. I would have only garnered part of the original price, because I spent money to ship it back, so now I'm out 212.00, plus 56.00. Talk about add insult to injury. We ordered two mobile file cabinets for our bookkeeper's office. When we unpacked them, one of them was made "incorrectly". They were metal and the top of the cabinet was welded incorrectly to the back and one side. Therefore, the drawer wouldn't close, let along lock. I emailed a photo to School Outfitters, who realized that it was their supplier's error and replaced the cabinet at no charge to us! A great company to deal with!!! read more

I purchased kids cots from here two years ago for my in-home daycare. My kiddos have been hard on them and some of the mesh started separating and becoming thread bare. I contacted School Outfitters asking if I could PURCHASE replacements. Quinn replied right away asked me to send pictures for their suppliers review, so I did same day. The next day I received an email from Quinn saying that they were sending me replacements via FedEx with a tracking number!! They never asked me for payment information even though in my initial email and picture email I said I would pay for them. They went above and beyond my expectations!! Excellent customer service! This company has been wonderful to work with for my classroom needs! Anytime I have needed to contact customer service regarding any issue with a product or to voice a praise about a product, I have heard back from someone within 24 hours. Then, a representative takes care of the situation and keeps the lines of communication open until the problem is resolved. Just recently, I had an issue with a chair and now, I am waiting to receive a brand new chair. The School Outfitters employees are always so kind, quick to respond, and very helpful. WORST COMPANY EVER. I ordered a very specific micro-controller from them 2 weeks ago and received an email confirmation for the order saying I would receive another email with shipping in the next business day. I did not. I waited 2 weeks before giving them a call regarding my order to have them tell me that my bank marked the charge as "fraudulent". So I then called my bank who told me it was not marked fraud by them but by SCHOOL OUTFITTERS. So I call them back and they tell me they marked it as fraudulent, so then I speak to a supervisor, who continues to talk down to me about how the charge was marked fraudulent but thats all she could tell me. Obviously I do not care at this point, I just want my micro-controller! So they patch me in to sales and the sales rep tells me that not only was this order marked fraud because I had a different billing/ shipping address (HOW HAVE THEY NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPEN BEFORE AND WHY WAS I NOT MADE AWARE OF IT?) and that the controller I wanted is out of stock for the next month and a half. WHY DIDN'T IT SAY THAT ON THE WEBSITE, I asked him, to which he responded that he didn't know but that the company does not notify customers when items are out of stock. RIDICULOUS. Do not do business with this company!! We ordered 17 tables and 32 chairs in early June for our school. I explained to the sales rep that we needed everything the first week of August and that school started on August 23rd. I also explained when asked, that we did not have a loading dock at our school. I was told that everything could be delivered in mid July. I made it extremely clear to the rep that our school was closed in July and that we needed delivery in the first week in August. I was assured that this was not a problem. While on vacation, I receive an email telling me that they had shipped our chairs in early July. I called the company to point out that the school was closed, and I was out of state. They replied that it was their mistake, and if I could get someone over to the school to accept delivery, they would discount the price. I managed to find someone to accept delivery and yet never received the promised discount. Then, I was told in early August that my tables were being shipped. I called and was told what day to have workers at my school to help unload the truck. We waited all day, and when I called to ask what was going on, I was told that a mistake had been made and that due to manufacturing problems, they tables never shipped. I have had multiple phone conversations since and been given multiple delivery dates. I was told we would have our tables on August 23rd and then on August 24th. Today, we were told that the tables are sitting in a warehouse about 20 miles away from our school, but that the shipping company was never informed that we don't have a loading dock, and they can't bring the tables to our school until they have the proper truck. Now the customer relations rep from School Outfitters that I was dealing with is out on vacation, and I am frantically trying to figure out how to get our tables. School Outfitters did offer us a discount on our NEXT PURCHASE! Like we would even consider doing business with this company again. read more
