Was looking forward to working with this LPC (listed under psychologist, she is not a psychologist)…read moreand went through the trouble of having my records sent to her after having to send off notarized letters to all my doctors. I sent an email to her expressing that I would like to make an appointment soon and she let me know she doesn't do appointments over email- fine, no big deal. I did not call her immediately because I am an adult and I work during the day, I was waiting until my day off to give her a call. She calls me a couple of days after the email (and I really do mean a couple, couldn't have been longer than 2 days or so) and is angry that I have not made me appointment yet. She is literally yelling at me at 8 am for not making an appointment and upset that I'm making her 'go in circles'. She then tells me repeatedly that she needs proof that I have a condition and she needs my records, I tell her I have them and will show her at my first appointment- so she repeats about 4 more times that she needs proof and reiterates how frustrated she is with me and tells me how things change so fast in her industry and how she doesn't want to be thought of as a letter mill for ESA's. I felt attacked, like seriously attacked. I felt like I was her therapist listening to all of her problems instead of the other way around. Very high strung, repeats things over and over again. I have anxiety the last thing I need is an unstable therapist. Im definitely taking my business elsewhere.

Well, I had high hopes after seeing small changes but I now realize Emler is all talk. They slap a…read morebandaid on things and hope no one notices. My kids have gone here for two years. My oldest we have seen regress in swim since we moved here. He's been doing the same skills for two years! No changes or progression to more advanced skills. I also never get updates other than what I'm told at the end of class, which is literally the same thing each time. There's a high turn over for instructors here. If they actually show up to class they are late or unprepared. My "favorite" was the one who showed up late and laughed about the fact that she was late because she was hung over and slept in. Some of the employees are very unprofessional. They talk about customers within ear shot of other customers. It's incredibly inappropriate and immature. The facility itself is pretty disgusting. The bathrooms always have dead bugs on the floor and they reek of pee. The changing rooms have hair all over them and the drains don't drain well so you're often stuck standing in murky water. They have a new policy about makeups. If you cancel a class and try to make it up, they charge you $15. If THEY cancel your class, you can make it up but you're still charged $15! It's ridiculous the way you are nickel and dimmed. If you're looking for a place to babysit your kid at an expensive cost for 30 minutes, this is the place for you. If you are looking for somewhere that will actually teach your child to swim, I highly recommend going elsewhere

My daughter really likes the instructors that work with the girls and the time and attention given. They also appreciate interacting with the parents of the other students since the class is filled with youngsters requiring a parent in the water as well. I also like that they have a bunch of bright clean restrooms and I like that Emler is in such a nice location. I will say some members of the front desk staff could be more welcoming by taking a few seconds to look up from their computers to greet incoming students, parents and guests.

I had a great conversation about gear and things. It looks like someone was dropping off equipment for a service so service looks to be an option. All in all, great music store that carries most things. Highly recommend

Another music shop tipped me off that this place had several in stock, and upon calling I was delighted to discover that they did. Although they were initially asking over $100 more than some bigger guitar shops online, the manager agreed to match that price and I was able to take home a Yamaha Revstar! The shop itself is pretty cool. When you drive up on Main Street it appears there's a lot of construction and NOT a lot of parking, but this isn't the case - they have a spacious lot in the back. Enter through the black door and you'll find yourself emerging into the shop near a wall of ukuleles. The store basically appeared to have three areas. The first room had the strings, acoustic guitars, (maybe drums and keyboards, I'm not sure), etc. The second area seemed to have equipment for recording and maybe some effects. The third room was well worth traversing the labyrinthine layout for, because that's where they kept the electric guitars and pedals and guitar straps. Despite being a small business they have a great selection. The manager seemed super knowledgeable and helped me pick some extra strings to go with my new guitar at my request. One of the things that really stood out to me too is that they offer a 50% discount on set-up service when you buy a new guitar from them. Although the person who does it was out for the week, I fully intend to bring my guitar back in to get it set up for only 30-something dollars! (Although, it seemed to play great off the wall.) Overall this is a great local music shop and should be on every guitarist's radar.
