To address the issue: there was a director (who was there about 2 years), and has since been let go (late 2024). She wasn't great. The new director, Kaylen, is fantastic - professional, strives for parental involvement, brings structure. My child attended four years. I can't say enough about the teachers; they give so much of themselves to the students. They work so hard on their curriculum. They love the children. We've found such a sweet little community in this school. I always tell friends that it's a hidden gem, but it shouldn't be! It's centrally located, right by the med center and incredibly convenient for parents who work there. The building has large classrooms, two playgrounds, a gym, a library, a sanctuary, and a large communal area for events. So consider this a review to address the haters. But also one of praise for such a special little place that I would hate to see suffer because people never gave it a chance.

All the teachers were wonderful and supportive. They loved my daughter, and you could really tell were as excited about her growth and learning as we were. The campus is great, and they take full advantage of it. They have two playgrounds, one for big kids and one for younger kids. If it's raining, the kids still get to move around by either going on buggy rides through the building or playing in the big gym. They did tons of arts and crafts, and I cherish all the handprint art. After we moved across town we still drove all the way to FCS for 10 months, that's how you know it's good! I recommend the school to my friends.

The staff at the front are knowledgeable and always greet us! The locked doors where you have to be buzzed in are great! It is always clean, and the kids get really good snacks and lunch. The people who work here are so kind and patient with kids, and I can tell they really love their kids and job! My only regret is not putting him in daycare sooner. He has learned so much! By the time he started pre k he knew his abc's and numbers and colors! He moved on to the 4 year old class with Mrs.Delores. She is such a caring and amazing teacher! I was sad when he turned 5 and moved to a different class, but his current teacher is just as great and he always has fun stories to tell me about his day. She is also helping him learn to finish his daily work. He would never finish just scribble. Ive seen so much improvement! I'm so proud of my big boy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE his teachers past and present! My other son started when he was 18 months. He is still having a hard time at drop offs, but when I check on my phone and see him on the cameras he is always playing and having fun. The amount of knowledge he has gained here in the first few months was great, but now it is amazing! He is 2 and know's his ABC's, how to count to 10, some colors, and just talks so well! Everyday he says something new to amaze me. He sings songs he learns in class, and the sign language! OMG! He knows quite a few signs and it just amazes me everytime I see him use them! She was previously at Primrose greenway but bc of the pandemic we no longer had to drive into the office so we found FLDS and it's amazing! So much better than PR and the staff are so caring and know EVERY CHILDS NAME!!! Expect a special event/party for every major holiday (soooo cute to see the kids happy and excited) it's a small 60-64 student school so the attention each staff member gives to every child is wonderful! They are education based (not 100%play based) which is great bc they prepare your child for Kindergarten. There's plenty of play time as well but they teach them to be independent and learn abc,numbers and most importantly being kind and polite and treating each other w respect. We have 3 children (twin 3 yr old girls & a 7 yr old boy) who attend and have attended My Place for years and I felt compelled to talk about why we never left. The difference is the people. Yes, they have a fantastic facility, security, high tech interactive gym, very clean, healthy meals...but the most important thing is how the teachers engage and interact with our children. I could give several examples, but we've had a child who passed out due to a breath-hold spell that a teacher quickly acted on and potentially saved our Child's life. This was all caught on video. I've seen teachers buy our child a little gift for Christmas out of their own pocket book. They have helped us get our infants into the building when it was raining. They keep us in the loop if there's any concern for our children. They keep us updated on their individual development process. This is just the type of people they are! And because we've been elsewhere, we know not everyone is like that! One key indicator is our children don't cry when we drop them off at school, they run to class excited. This was not true of the other places. Under the bridge program, my son flourished and was prepared for KISD's kinder curriculum. My Place has been incredible for their education/development, their care and they have a great time doing it! We highly recommend this family-oriented school and wouldn't think about leaving!

I planned to enroll my 2 year old in 2020 but covid delayed our plans. Finally enrolled in 2022 and the small class room environment really helped my child excel socially, academically and with her speech. Teachers and staff are wonderful. It was a bit difficult to plan to be off work when notified a few days beforehand.

She was there from newborn to preschool then before and after school and every summer camp. The teachers are so loving and many of them have been there for my daughter's entire life. Very low turnover, all the teachers know her by name and they know us as parents. Clean, safe, secure, and off the main roads but in a really great area.
