Beans Means Seals and lots of 'em. Book a seal watching boat trip at Blakeney Quay or more easily…read moreby 'phone, turn up the next day at Morston Quay and be whisked away (more like chugged away) in one of the bright white and orange Beans boats. Superb setting, eye level with Morston Salt Marshes along the meandering waterway to emerge out into the deeper Blakeney Channel. Choppy and windy, so don't forget your warm clothes and if sitting at the front of the boat, a waterproof for the showers of spray. On past the old coastguard station on Blakeney Point, keenly looking for the first seal sighting, like Captain Ahab but with less bloodthirsty thoughts. Thar she blows!! A seal, peering back from just ahead, bobbing in the swell, cheeky as you like. Continue round Blakeney Point and there're all her brothers and sisters and the rest. Seals too many to count, lumbering out of the surf, fighting in the water, lazing on their backs in the sun, small ones, big ones, pups. Amazing, Sir David Attenborough eat your heart out, don't need the North Pole, just pop along to Blakeney Point in Norfolk!

I told them I didn't have a ticket and where do I go. The person pulls me aside while I left my two children in line. She proceeds to tell me that I have to get in the back of the line since I did not have my ticket to begin with. The line was super long because I had arrived early. After that I called to let the manager know of my experience and they said "you people never listen". So rude. People visiting be warned. Not a kind company.

I am sure this is an amazing experience. Unfortunately we will never know. I had booked the Fondue…read moreexperience as an early Valentine's dinner for my wife and myself since we were going to be traveling for work over Valentine's weekend. The morning of our booking I had a medical emergency (which we were able to verify to Skuna) so we called about six hours before our tour to ask if we could reschedule for another day. We understood this was incredibly short notice, so we didn't expect a refund or even a full credit. We asked if since the food would obviously not be prepared could we at least have a credit for the food portion if not the tour time. The answer was a fairly insensitive no, and were told the manager said they can't do anything with a same day cancel. Of course, we understood the uniqueness of the situation and had it not been due to a legitimate medical issue we never would have asked. However, the staff we spoke to didn't even show concern for the situation. We had to cancel drinks and bites at Bokan as well for after our tour and the staff there said no problem, they showed concern, and wished us well. Understanding that policies are in place we sent an email the next day. Eight days later we have only received an automated reply stating that our email was received. This is an experience we've wanted to have since moving to London three years ago, but sadly we just aren't interested in giving more money to a company that has this little care for their customers.

Josh was amazing. Water was warm, boat was clean and easy to 'drive'. Definitely worth the money, and no one else I know has been on a hot tub boat! So if you want something away from the crowds, in a great area for lunch or dinner too, give this a try. Easy to get to from anywhere.

Today my girlfriend and I were whisked from Westminster to Canary Wharf in minutes aboard a…read morespeedboat, and then cruised back with a guided tour of all the major sites. It was a lot of fun! Whilst I've travelled the length of the Thames before, it's always been at a snail's pace, and usually stuck in a crowded tube train. This was a breath (a blast, in fact) of fresh air. From Canary Wharf, the tour took a more leisurely course back westerly along the river and a guide talked us through some history. He was an experienced chap with a lot of interesting stories and anecdotes. Did you know that a single shell from a gun on the HMS Belfast, moored at London Bridge, could target and destroy Crystal Palace? Or that an earlier London Bridge was purchased by a rich Californian for £1M, and carefully shipped over to the USA and assembled - only then did the american realise it wasn't the iconic Tower Bridge he thought it was. The sensitive might find the talk of murderers' heads on poles and Guy Fawkes hanging drawing and quartering a bit much, but kids would love that, I'm sure! Despite the occasionally grisly commentary, I'd highly recommend the speedboat tour.

Me and some mates recently did this as part of a stag do in London. It was a really great way to…read morestart our day. I had underestimated people when they told me how fast it went! If you want to stich someone up, make sure they sit on the left hand side of the boat - they will get the brunt of the speed when whizzing past Canary Wharf.
